NOTE: You can leave the wing in place and just go into the settings to return the downforce values to zero.

Unless, of course, you never turned them up...?

I'm going to assume that he got the wing purely for style, not down-force.

I hate the wing styles in gt4. I tune my cars to be partially lower in the front end to act as a downforce of sorts. Seems to work. Only certain cars seem to look perfect with the wings, but most of them look like ricers with them on.

Oh and if you want to be succesful in GT4 you'll probably have to give up NFS. GT4 isn't anything like that. You cant just smash the gas 24/7 and expect to win every race.

If you can brake for the corners, and learn the circuits. You can button mash and still be very successful.

I am a button masher (yeah i'm proud) with a ds2 controller (couldn't get the hang of the wheel for now) and I have just about got max A-spec points. As you can see 4 racers to go.

@Racer_Boy - Practice makes Perfect is about all I can add. Then search the forums for hints, tips and set-ups to help even more.

I almost always put the front of my cars lower, and the rear higher...the reason is so that most of your weight is sitting forward, and this means the front-end generally gets more grip, which lessens all that understeer!

Exceptions are rare. Lightweight Lotuses are one example....i like having the front sitting higher with these since they have such skittish rear-ends. The Ginetta and the Spitfire are a couple more examples.

do the first license test, if you get stuck press R3 and it shows you the correct racing line, the car you win has 150bhp and is more than enough to defeat the eco-boxes in the sunday cup,

Hell, without and oil change or any mods, i won the sunday cup and the FF challenge.
