So in other words, it will be even more funny when he wins the championship

;)

yeah its like cricket. Australia winns all the time so I dont bother watching. it makes for much boredom when the winner is known before the event starts.

yeah, he is great (even the greatest). but he needs to be less great to make the sport interesting.

yeah but watching australia win the cricket when your an australian kick butt. nothing better then sitting back and watching the aussie thrash the world

I like him.. But mostly because he put Ferrari back where they belong.. Before MS they hadn't seen an F1 championship since 1979...

That - And hi's liek teh totl grip masdah n da wain..

I've paid Mr. Firman a few dollars in exchange for him (gently) taking Michael out of the Suzuka GP so Raikkonen can win the championship.

i like him but even if i didnt i would respect him as he is one of the greatest ever F1 drivers and you cant take that away from him.

exactly 👍

...and in Suzuka, no one will catch him

i to dislike him, he is a CHEAT. And would never be as good has he is if senna never died. The only reason he wins so much is that ferrari have a budget of about 60 million more then then teams like Mclaren and Williams. He is so lucky it pisses me of.
he is a very good driver but not as good as the greats of F1.
(How often do u see him put on a spectalor overtaking move not often.)

how often do you see any body these days do spectacular overtaking moves????

1. I will agree that some things have happened that have been "questionable" but then again Senna did the same, remember him taking prost off at suzuka to win the world title?
short memory obviously

2. I dont believe that Ferrari has as big a budget as most people would have you believe, Williams and Mclaren also have huge budgets but have yet to take the title from Michael/Ferrari

3. Everybody has some luck in the lives, also comes down to hard work and being in the right place at the right time

4. Most points, Most wins, Most fastest laps, Most laps led, Most kms led, plus a stack of other records, how is this guy not one of the greats?

5. More so in last few seasons, you dont need a spectacular overtaking move when you are out in front

err........JPM. Spectacular but sometimes stupid like in USA recently. Overtake on the outside? And so early in the race?

But Senna was not as annoying. You had other racers that stayed with senna. I think Damon Hill was one of those.

Today, F1 races are boring. Im really sick and tired of seeing 1 person always winning. Im still cheering Montoya on, but shumacher always is in the lead. Its really boring if you really watch every F1 race and it just bores you to death. Like at the US Gran Prix, I was hoping Kimi would beat the **** out of shumacher.

How much do you'll wanna bet the gay german is gonna have the pole and win. I will personally go over there and beat the crap out of Micheal if I have too.

Damon IMO was an ordinary driver at best (particulary in the wet)
Sure it takes some skill to win a world championship, that I am not doubting, but he was in the best car at the time, yet Michael was able to take up the challenge in what has to be said a pig of a car

I didnt see anybody last year get even close (to taking up the challenge) except maybe for DC's stella drive at Monaco

i think a thing that makes f1 boring at times is Micheal domination the reason this happens is not his fault, but that there has been very few good drivers who have the ability to come againts him. Kimi and Alonso will be very good in a few seasons and i am sure will give Micheal a lot of heat.
If we look at senna in the 80s there were loads of world class drivers to fight against him that made the racing fun to watch.
Nelson Piquet. Alain Prost. Nigel Mansell and many more.
In my opinion money has ruined the sport from what it once was, its still great but seams to be lacking somthing.

Senna did take of Prost for the 1990 world title (which i found quite funny:lol: ) but was a revenge move, for what prost did to senna the year befor at the same track in 1989. Senna whent to overtake prost then prost drove into him. Prost stoped but senna was pushed started repeared the damgae in the pits and won the race and the chapionship. Then to have his points stripped away for aparantly causing the crash. Which if your saw was completly rong. senna almost retired from the sport over it but did not in the end.

Ah yes this true, but that crash at relativly slow speed would not have killed them either, unlike the crash a year later

Its not michaels fault if there have been "no good drivers" as you put it in the last couple of years
Remember a fella by the name of Hakkinen by any chance, or even Jaques? I didnt hear anybody having a sook when Mika/McLaren where out in front and winning everything, same with with McLaren/Prost/Senna in the late 80's nothing again, and finally in the mid-late 90's when Williams where all the rage? nothing again
Even with all these rule changes to "hobble" Ferrari/Michael it looks like Schuey will walk away from Suzuka with a SIXTH world title, does that qualify him as a great then?

Burn the Ferrari factory? What kind of stupid assed statement is that?

i did not say he was not one of the greats. i just think he is not the best ever even if he wins next season and gets a 7th world chapionshp. At the end of the day its to hard to compare drivers from different ages. Even a 10 year difference can be quite hard.
Different Tracks, Drifferent Cars.
