get a life tard.

The racing is tone more exciting than F1 which has virtually no overtaking & is predictable. Nascar & IRL both have plenty of overtaking, loads of side-by-side wheel to wheel racing & extremely close finishes.

More exciting than F1? No overtaking and predictable?

edit:
I don't have anything against NASCAR (as I watch the races from time to time) but this remark certainly caught my attention...

To all you who say Nascar is boring: Did you see the last 10 laps of the Daytona 500 this past Sunday? If you don't think that is exciting, then i don't know what's wrong with you. 4 lead changes in 9 laps. It was CRAZY!!
Go fast, Turn left is boring...my opinion ;)
And correct me if i'm wrong, but how interesting can a sport be when 1 guy wins every championship? What's his name? Schumaker??? Now, i don't follow F1, and in America it would be pretty tuff even if i wanted to. But isn't F1 pretty predictable. Ferrari wins.....Schumaker wins........... isn't that how it goes????

And what i have seen of F1 is totally different than NASCAR, in F1 you don't have a group of 20 cars, 3 wide, all trying to fight for the same position.

i'm not trying to convince ya'll to like NASCAR, but at least respect it.
  • 1. I respect the DRIVERS of NASCAR...not the races (except for the road courses)
    2. Schumacher is one of the best F1 drivers.
    3. He doesn't always win.
    4. Ferrari doesn't always win.
    5. Have you actually watched a F1 race...many a race there are cars 2 and 3 wide going into the first corner off of a dead start!! Not to mention crashes, lead changes and what-not.
    6. Aside from that...TO ME...F1 is more of a finesse racing style...compared to the ram the guy in front and hope he spins out style of NASCAR (just kidding!!)

    7. MOST IMPORTANTLY...I started this thread to see what kind of reaction I could get from people. Maybe not the best thing to do, but I did it for fun. I did not believe DE Jr. ran a few laps around the downtown streets of NY for fun. I also am from NYC (Brooklyn to be exact). and fully understand the fact that traffic downtown is murder ANYTIME of the day. LASTLY...to whomever corrected me about it being Columbus Circle and not Washington Circle...I stand corrected ;)

P.S. -- NASCAR is boring...in my OPINION!! I have many friends that try to get me hooked on it, but fail miserably.

If you people were "true" motorsports fans you wouldn't talk so much crap about Nascar. I like Every form of motor sport. And there's only one I hate with a passion. And that's drifting!!! I'll watch a WRC race. A Nascar race, then an F1 race. There's things in each that makes them awesome.

Why does your third sentence seem to contradict your second sentence? Why does you're third sentence seem to contradict your first sentence?

speedy_samurai is so right, speedy_2 you should think before you say something like that....:dunce:

i like all motorsports, i dont hate none of them,i just enjoy some more than others,every1 is diffrent.

'true' motorsports fans enjoy all types of racing.

Here is something for the haters

I Love Drifting,but a Drifting nascar is cool,dont hate.:sly:

I find oval racing interesting not because of the track, but because of the crashes :D

WRC = I always miss it, but I like it, I generally watch the old ones on men & motors.

F1 is good, but not very exciting.

Touring cars = :D I just love 'em

Drag racing = It's exciting, but boring at the same time.

Drifting = I love to watch it.

Motorbike racing = I'm simply not a motorbike fan :grumpy:

Back on topic I couldn't be bothered to read through all 5 pages, but there is a possibility this is true, but very unlikely.

Nascar I've never really gotten into that much just for watching, although I do understand and appreciate what the drivers have to go through. My favorite type of racing to watch is either LeMans or WRC, since you have so many different types of cars going at once (and there is the small detail about the "big left turn" again)

This is sounds like they actually did. Some people doubt it happened but there may be many witnesses to this activity. Because they wouldn't close the one of the biggest areas in New York just for ONE game. So he might have been doing some illegal street racing. But overall, that was a good story!

I like how this single thread from a Junior member start from February 15th all the way to 2007! When it's February 15th this year this will be 2 years old! :)

Drifting has be wrongly labeled as a motorsport. It's a fad. :yuck: There's not one other form of motorsport that relies on "style." It's just the most retarded thing ever.

I think they said a similar thing about synchronised swimming and it stubbornly refuses to go away.

I don't think it's quite retarded, but it's certainly not a sport. It's the ice skating of motorsport.

If you have people competing against one another it's a sport. If you are using a motorvehicle to compete it's a motorsport.
