A budget tuner will mostly just use bolt-ons... but to me a proper street tune goes one step further without going into race-spec. My street/sport tune is as follows:
GT Auto
- Oil change
- Custom paint (if wanted)
- Custom rims (if wanted)
- Aero kits
- Engine overhaul (for used vehicles)
Tuning shop
- Window weight reduction and carbon hood. (Window weight is more sensible than Stage 1 weight reduction... 10kg could be a spare tire

)
- Stage 1 engine and ECU. (Engines can be opened easily and cheaply to justify the engine upgrade)
- Racing filter.
- Headers, sports exhaust and catylitic converter.
- Low rpm turbo/supercharger. (for durability (hypothetically), I wouldn't go mid or high for turbo)
- Single plate clutch, sports flywheel.
- Height adjustable suspension.
- Sports soft tires.
You don't have to like my street set-up, but car enthusiasts will go further than just a couple of bolt-ons. These are the parts I'd install into my own vehicle.
