Now I know how to steal the local '69 Mustang that is always cruising on the road

Yup lol make sure they don't have a killswitch and push start installed or your screwed

No, 99% of those cars need a key in the ignition still. Fords will drive without them. Put a screwdriver from each terminal on the battery and BAM

99% of cars can be started like this-

A screwdriver is a very versatile tool. 👍

But my way is faster lol. Less chance of getting caught =P

Did you know that in fact most cars can be stoten in less than 1 minute with only a screwdriver and a hammer or other object used as a hammer? And thats not even by a pro. A real professional car thief can steal a car in as little as 5 seconds (thats from gaining entry to your vehicle to driving off in it).

I watched this video online of a guy who earned millions of dollars stealing high-end cars. What he would do is he would steal the car, say it's a BMW 5 series, then he would go to the junkyard to find a car that is almost exactly the same in appearance, take the VIN number off the totaled BMW, and then swap it with the current working BMW. He also has a factory computer that can change the stats of the car, (like maintenance dates, insurance checks, etc.) Then, he would sell it to someone after it was literally fool-proof for any cop to find out about. then, weeks later, he would steal another car and do the same thing. He wasn't caught for many years. I may be missing some steps though.

Ya, they got whole rings of people doing that lol. I mean selling the cars through dealers and everything.

This thread has gone waaaaay off topic lol. I think a group hug will get things back on track.

I dont mind the off tipoc discussion. But Ive seen in Africa they have the flame thrower!!!!

I also read an article about rigging up a machete under the car to swing out and cut off their feet when they try to carjack you. Don't recall where I read that, an old car and driver I think, but I'll try to see if I can find a link for it and post it. They don't play over there lol. 👍

Yes, I know Slash. Funny thing is that guy thinks that his car is so awesome with a friggin foor diameter exhaust tip rockin on his Honda that he has failed to realize he has ruined the car mechanically.

Are people allergic to actually staying on-topic, and not turning every thread into some slow-chat sprawl?

Next thread I see like this, infractions and holidays are being handed out, we've lost track of the number of warnings the same group of people always get.
