My friend says the Mustang is way better than the Trans Am and Camaro. I think not. I think that the Trans Am and Camaro are way better then the Mustang. Can you guys please help.

The only stang that has any shot against ANY Trans-AM/Camaro is the Saleen S-351 but other than that stang the F-body cars whip the Horse.

During the 80s the Mustang had the edge but unless you bring in the recent Cobras Trans Ams and Camaros are better. The best is the Trans Am, since it looks better than Camaros. Mustangs, have to think about that, but 90-99% of Firebirds look better than Camaros.

I was in a chat room and some guy said a stock mustang could beat a stock trans am. I said dude you know nothing about cars.

He told me he did and that the mustang was better in every way and I shouldn't go by stats. Then he called me a dirty mexican for liking Trans Ams.

If anyone would like to mess with these two guys who know nothing there sn's are Spam2mapS and Claychampion. They reported me to AOL for something and I was told not to speak with them. So if anyone talks to them I would like it if you kept quite about me and the forum.

Have you ever worked on a Small Block chev? They are 900X easier to work on than the fords, more parts ect. Basically the engines are identical.

Note that we are compairing CIB engines not the DOHC bastards.

Actually, I lied. thinking of it, both engines are exactly as easy to work on as the other... Chevy engines have more and cheaper parts however.

This whole argument is worthless. What street is quoting me on is innacurate and not correct.

The debate is not just mustang vs trans am. It's what street likes in a car vs. What I like in a car.

Street loves any car that has a lot of power. Fine.

I like mustangs. I tell him about the saleen display at the Woodward dream cruise, he says every saleen I have ever seen is fake ( just a modded mustang with a saleen bumper), says stangs suck, and that trans ams are better.

Street states this as fact grounding it on the fact that trans ams have more power than a stang.

I say: I don't care what you think. I like stangs.

He says: but stangs suck

Me: But I like stangs

Him:But they suck

Repeat for a few hours until it is time for some sleep, start again tommorrow with two different cars, mine less powerful, but I like it, his more powerful, making it better because of that. . Street likes power in a car, because he seems to think he would like racing (did you hear he races? Think again. he's 15 years old, with no car, formerly owning a dodge neon before he could legally drive go figure), so he goes for a more powerful car, While I go with something that has a design that I like, yet still has a resonable amount of power

Is there a problem with liking a car for personal preferance on it's design and how it looks as well as power? Or is power the only almighty decider? Street constantly says you guys have an almost exactly the same view on what a car should be like (=more powerful than what I like ). I am sick of hearing this from street, and I want to know what you think, comming from YOU

I have nothing against the Mustang, and will not argue further, my only contention is that performance wise a Trans Am is superior to a Mustang GT.
