I think I ruined my M3 GTR...

Whenever racing online, the GTR was my 400HP car for months now. I never lose with it, really, especially on the tracks Cote de Azur and Suzuka. I won at least 8-10 races in a row with this car on those tracks until I decided to lighten it up. I gave it a stage 3 weight reduction along with window and hood replacements and I think it's just too light now. I find it hard to tame that tail now and can't win a race anymore. Do I have to work harder when driving this thing or did I actually mess the car up?

If you think you ruined it by adding tho's mods just find another or trade someone on here for a stock one. No big deal 👍

I'm taking notes for 3 cars. I noticed his M3 GTR is as light as mine and more powerful, but note how he probably had to adjust the LSD. I usually never adjust the LSD for cars under 600 HP. But I will most definitely make an exception now because I want it to run the way it was.

Oh and thanks Rennen!

Np buddy, the LSD actually makes or breaks allot of cars especially those with a p.w.r. of 2.5kg/HP or better and rr cars for future reference.

I did the same thing after I lightened the chassis it is happy in the rear and wants to break anytime I get on the gas out of a hard corner. I have to throttle it a lot more than I use to. You can use TCS to calm it down but that is not the solution I want. I tried Deutch's tune and that seemed to make it worse. I finally gave up on it and went with the Corvette.

If you get a good tune for this let me know!👍

@Indyracer

I used the tune setup mentioned in the link posted above. I tried it last night with engine output set to 408HP and the tail still began to slip despite the LSD tinkering. I remember being able to mash that pedal to the floor and not worrying about sliding. That's the car I want again, but I would have to say it's too light. To all the M3 GTR owners out there, don't make the car too light, keep it around 1200Kg.

At 503HP the car is even worse. I run a 54 second Lap at Tsukuba with the tune mentioned in that link above. I also ran a 54 second lap before the tune, And that's with almost 100 less HP ! At 408HP I was just as fast. Before I ruined my car, here's how it was setup initially-

408HP
Est. 1235Kg
Initial Torque 40
Accel. Sensitivity 30
Brake sensitivity 10
Brake Balance F 6 R 4
Ride Height -4 -4 (Car is already low to begin with)
Camber F 1.0 R 0.5
Toe R -12

Not a complete overhaul, but a tweak. Everything else at default, keep in mind that this M3 is already tuned right out of the dealership, and sometimes less is more.
