As usual my fastest lap on softs was a 1:34.923, but I guarantee for some reason when we start the race I will only be able to clock 36's or 37's watch?

36-37 are good if you can do that in race. Then i have a problem whit my pace.

Erik are you not doing the usual sign up post ?

Today I only count the guys in the ICGTC lounge before the race, I forgot it during the week. Will be back to normal next week.

And remember, I don't have to start the sign up post, everyone can start it.

We still can sign-up

I'll be on later this afternoon to practise. Not had any time at all this week to practise unfortunately.

I've been doing some things to my setup I would like to share.

If you run a extra screen to the Teamspeak client I found the white background to be pretty distracting while driving. So I found a new skin to it on the official teamspeak web page. Skins or "themes" can be found here, if it's something you would like to try.

I also added a little logo to the server, I'm not really a guru in photoshop, so if you want to make something cooler let me know and I change it ;)

BTW: TeamSpeak server is now registered as a none profit server. Doesn't mean much, but I could actually give away slots to other championships as the default 32slot server now is a 512 slots server.
I think it would be cool to have all SuperGT championships in there, would make the community better and we could maybe get to know the guys doing the same things as us.
I haven't offered it to anyone, I need to do some bandwidth testing while we are all in, haven't really seen anything higher than 56kbit usage during the week, but we haven't been that many people online.

I also have been upgrading some of my home network. I used to run one port on my router to the entire upstairs where I have my server, my computer and my PS3. I added a new network cable just to my my PS3 and my teamspeak laptop. The old wire was a cat5e cable and I just wanted to make sure the cable wasn't the bottleneck. I also upgraded the wan port to Gbit as I also added a new cable from my internet box to my router. I used to have 100mbit here. This actually gave me a 1ms lower ping.

I noticed increased speed in my home network, but if it will be better when playing is yet to be tested.

See you all on track

Sorry I've not been on for practice much this week, I've been too caught up in iRacing this week.
I'm quite confident with my setup this week though so all should be good after a few laps later on. :)

Slight change of plan boys. My cousin has just informed me of a pool tournament so I wont be on for much practise but I should be back in time for the race.

How does that happen to you joe truck , you go to 6th gear , that kills your races .

Not a bad race for me , I will take the 3rd place , my goal was 2nd or higher but my strategy was wrong . A 2 stop wasn't faster than a 3 here and now I know this for next season .

Traffic was the killer here as the dirty air just made tire wear worse .

See you all at Spa

Ironic race, car felt really good but I just wasn't quick enough.

Lost 5th place to Maxitsu after I made a span at turn 1 lap 15 and because I decided not to go onto softs.

Good race overall though. Me, Erik and Maxi are so close to each other on the leaderboards now.

I hate this track but i was better then i thought. It didn't look good in the beginning of the week so i am happy that the practise paid off.

I was a bit stupid to try some diffrent toe-settings last minute. Then i forgot to changed them back. meaning i had some problems whit turning, specially on bad tyres. also my tyrewear was a bit worse then it had to be. Meaning i couldn't put a time a good time in qually, which made me start into the pack, meaning i had to deal whit Erik, Anastasis & Arkano in race. Erik and i had a 'kinky' moment when he got wide, I was fully on the brake to avoid him. After i got rid of Arkano i was free to have my race but the top 4 was to far ahead. when i could go on soft i just holded the gap whit Arkano, i couldn't risk to run out of tyres becaus my setup was wrong.

Also Arkano what did you in turn 1. you bounced back when i was right behind you. Sorry for hitting you but it was not avoidable. Could be bad for both.

I must say with this heavy weight i dont have fun to drive.
It was a fight against the tyre wear very sad.

I enjoyed this race. I didn't have much practice and have to race at Tokyo in another series on Sunday, so i was a little worried about mixing both practice laps (which i did at times). I came in without a pit strategy and i'm glad i made a good one. My pit strategy was what got me a higher finish spot. I pit every 8 laps and finished on softs, came out to be a 4 stopper.

I was alone for most of the race which i preferred, that way i can put down my fastest laps without interruption. Come last laps i was trying hard to chase down Erik but not enough time.

Yeah, so I need to get a WHEEL!!!!!!

Didn't you have a T500RS just lying around, and you play with a DS3 controller.. in my head that qualify for a knock in the head ;)

Well it looks like you can remove some weight for the next race. Look at the rest of us with ballast, 20-40kg stops us up a lot so we miss the podium straight after we get the success ballast. You just keep making your car fly so the ballast keep growing. You know you could actually try making smart races. If you need a 4th you should go for a 4th and lose some ballast.
Remember, in the end two of the races are removed from the scores. The two with the least score.
