do drive on x-route. Gives you most mileage in a minimum of time.

That looked like so much fun, I am surprised I'm so happy after I was not very impressed from being disconnected but that's because I did just watch a great race. I think the problem was my phone drops the WI-fi connection after a certain amount if time of being locked, and the ps3 may have gone with it. I would also like to point out that I predicted the top 3 to be Hurley, Immortal and Anastasis and they finished 1st 2nd and 3rd respectively :)
Joey, the things I noted were:
Falcon spoon lap14
Ark last chicane Lap16
Skendigi last chicane lap17
Hurley/Immortal first half of lap19
Skendigi somewhere in the first split lap20
Immortal spoon Lap26/29
Max turn 1 lap27
Falcon last chicane lap27

Where you 1 of the last people to join the room? If so like what happen to me last week, you were probably at the dirty end of the connection stick?

To stop disconnecting you should invest in a new router, I bought one that actually is for gaming and torrents. Can handle a lot of connections without dropping connection.

The crappy router that was in my ISP box disconnected me to often. I had to call my ISP and they gave me the opportunity to "by-pass" my router (bridgemode) Never had a disconnect since.

And Adam, anastasis placed 4th, I placed 3rd ;)

Some time during this week the Teamspeak server will be offline for a few hours as I'm going to optimize my home network.
So if you can't join it during the week when practicing, its just because I unplugged the server from the network.

I also invested in a 120GB corsair SSD disk I'm going to replace my 160GB (SuperSlowDisk) with. Looking forward to shorten some of the loading time in GT5 :dopey:
And I guess it will be cooler also, witch always is a good thing ;)

I still miss some replay reports to do the scoreboard and stewards report.

Welcome to the ballast club Erik , I pmed you my report .

If I'm correct we have had 8 different drivers on the podium in the first 4 races and my favourite statistic 4 different winners .

I hope this season comes down to the last race :)

I've had three 7th places now, my season is as good as over tbh. We'll see how it goes at Tokyo though, at least I don't have any ballast now.

Since I couldn't make this weeks race I started testing for Tokyo R246 already and I'm running high 1'36"xxx. It looks like this will be a 4 stopper, but I can see the 3 stopper possible if someone can get at least 38.2mi out of the mediums? I'm lauching a practice room now (4:10pm PST) if anyone wants to join? If so find me on the psn list!

Feel free to use the ICGTC lounge JoeTruck, its there so we more easily can find each other when practice.

Yes Joe use the ICGTC lounge for practice , drivers are usually in there everyday .

Your times sound good 1 36s are very competitive , I expect the nsx cars to be in the 1 35's

45 laps is a long race so strategy will be important

Race penalties and results adjustments.
Maxitsu goes between two cars to make 3 by 3 at the start. This would have been OK if he could hold the line. I have no idea what’s happened to his car, but its starts to go from left to right pushing Netherdragon off track.

10 Second penalty for not giving sufficient room to the driver with the outside line. Netherdragon could have yielded, but it’s not demanded. And there is no way he should expect Maxitsu to start sliding left to right.
OLR 08 A-C & OLR 09

zzxxz uses Hurleyman24’s rear bumper as a brake pedal and will be given a 10 second penalty at the next race he finishes. Adam got a warning at SSR5 for dangerous driving conduct and starting the next race like this isn’t improving.
OLR 06 A-B & OLR 09

It looks like Falcon also is involved with something in the start, but he got a strange move on my replay makes it looks like IMMORTALPILOT is pushing him before Falcon is involved with anything. I can’t hear the sound of the crash and it could have been caused by lag and I will have to look at it as a race incident.

Lap 12-13 start finish line 10 second penalty to Arkano for illegal blocking towards Netherdragon. You are not allowed to change line when the car behind is making a move to pass.
OLR: 10 A

Lap 20 Skengdigi backs up onto track without checking if there are any cars, Arkano ends up with damage because of it. Arkano does a dirty block after the incident. But when someone tries to take advantage of a damage they caused I see it as fair enough.
10 seconds penalty to Skengdigi for the incident.
OLR 14 A

Lap 26 spoon Arkano vs Falcon 10 second penalty to Arkano
Falcon goes on the inside and have sufficient overlap and has corner rights, and Arkano turns in on him.
OLR 8 A-C

Lap 27 130R Arkano vs Falcon 10 second penalty to Falcon
Falcon is on the inside of Arkano and have corner rights, but Falcon goes way to deep on the exit of the corner forcing Arkano off track. Room should be given even if you have corner rights.

There are a lot of other small things, people crossing the white pit line at pit exit and a lot more than the guys mention in the race start incident should read OLR 09. We start the race on 14% wet with mediums and soft tyres and people are going into the first corner like there is no tomorrow.

GET A GRIP PEOPLE! Race isn’t won in this corner, Hurleyman24 proved this. Didn’t he?

Total Penalty
Arkano 20 Seconds
Falcon, Maxitsu & Skengdigi 10 seconds
zzxxz 10 second on next race.

Brings the race leaderboard to look like this:
1. Hurleyman24
2. IMMORTALPILOT
3. ErikAndre71
4. anastasis14
5. C-Falcon89
6. Maxitsu
7. ProPersian
8. Arkano6
9. Netherdragon
10. Skengdigi
11. Grayfox32 DNF -8 laps
12. Troylee2601 DNF -14 laps
13. Zzxxz (disconnected)

So that's where you guys are hanging out at? I will do that. My physics in my room my be different than our race room anyways, so this will produce the most accurate physics possible.

My new lap times are:
Fast Lap @ 1:35.200 / Soft
Fast Lap @ 1:36.645 / Med

I'm hoping to make a better impression this round, in the last tread from Monza to Suzuka I noticed that you guys are praticing right away after the close of the previous race. Some of you are getting up to 7 days practice against my 2 night practice session, which is not enough practice to keep up with you guys (not to mention these are your 3rd attempts at these tracks(pick up where you left off)). I see how you guys all made each other faster now, tons of early preparation I get it now thanks! 👍

Yeh man we have a close group of friends here and we try to help each other out , its a fun and fair rivalry .

We don't give each other all the secrets and knowledge we have but we do our best to help .

Your pace looks very good here if you can keep your lap times consistent .

Good luck this week Joe

Anyone practicing today ?

Yep, in the very beginning i just joined at race time, and i saw myself crashing 3 times at each lap. good times :sly:. I was a bit inexperienced but still, houres of practise makes a huge diffrence. So i try to practise during the week as much as i can. if i can not i try to practise almost the whole saturday.

My trouble is when I'm practising during the week I always tell myself to be working. Luckily I dont have too much work due in this week plus I didn't play snooker today so I'm on now :)

EDIT: Can I ask why we are doing 45 laps? If my calculations are correct it will take us about 75 minutes to complete.

well i try to do it in 60 minutes :sly:

I'm feeling confident with how my setup for this race is coming along, my current best on medium tyres is a 1:36.2xx and on softs a mid to high 1:34 (don't remember exact time). If I can tweak it slightly to so my front tyres last a little longer then a 2 stopper might just be possible but if not then it looks to be a 3 stopper, either way I'm hoping my setup is good enough for a top 5 finish this week. :)

Yeah the laps are wrong for a 1 hour race. If the average lap times are 1:36/1:37's on mediums then the total number of laps for 1 hour should be 37 laps but 45 will do ;).

Yeh I think 45 laps is fine , you were fast Joey especially on the main straight

I think when Erik edits the 1st page , Falcon or Immortal will be leading the points after 4 rounds .

I must have made a mistake, it should have been 38. I can change it if that's what everyone wants. I have no idea how 45 ended up there. :scared:

What?!, a 2 stopper! I hope this means your running on hards for my tuning sake? I ran a lot of test and I have my LSD and suspension setup for minimum tire wear, and I still can only get 35mi out of the medium compounds. I ran a mileage calculation and you would have to at least get 38.2mi out of the mediums just to make it a 3 stopper. Hats off to you or whoever can do it in a 2 stop or even a 3 stopper. Please trade tire degradation notes if possible! 👍

38 laps would make it a speed race (we all can get 8 - 10 laps out easily)
45 laps would make it a pit strategy & tire wear race ( we would need 11 - 12 laps on a set of tires for a 3 stopper)

I'm tuned for the 45 laper, but I'm down for either or? you guys pick!

Note: sorry for the double posting

I also think 45 would be the best to be honest, but we used 38 laps when soft tyres lasted like hard and was much faster. And that took about one hour, so I understand if someone think 45 is to long.

Could be a nice league. But i have no time for 2 series. And i drive for fun and not for prizes. & advertising in other leagues is not a nice thing to do.

Couldn't commit to a 3rd series

Already doing this and the world series in GT300

I vote for 45 laps , its like a mini endurance :)

I don't think it will be that much longer than ssr5 , the pit stops at tokyo are quicker .
