I just used a random setup to start the race whit untested and a very stupid thing to do. my front tyrewear was a bit worse compared earlier practise sessions. The start went well but i got hit 2 times by skendigi. he probably didn't know but on my screen it looks like he wants to control the car when i am side-by-side. The second hit send me off on the grass. As result i was behind Troylee. And thats hell! He was much slower but he was sliding all over the place that made him unpredictable and difficult to pass. I hit him twice so i had to yield twice. It cost me at least 15 seconds. I lost the race 7th place was the only thing i could do. Untill i saw Skengdigi in a distance but at some point he was gone. Luck there was Falcon who made a mistake and Erik who used the wrong strategy. When Falcon passed me i came in for soft tyres. A little to early but i had no choice and i had nothing to lose anymore i was in 7th and Anastasis was very far away. Falcon could pass me again becaus i had to save tyres and i could pass erik becaus he was on hards. 4/5 laps before finish my soft were gone. I wanted to come in for new boots but stayed out and tryed to take it very easy. Changed my brake balance and my times dropped very bad. But arkano in front of me and erik behind me had the same problems. atleast it looked like that. To bad i could not push at the last stints. I could finish 4th or atleast 5th consider Arkano's penalty from previous race.

As the leaderboard is a list on a forum and I have no chance to top it I decided I wanted to have fun. I'm so tired of the medium and soft compound so I though I see what I could do with the hard once and if I bothered I could be a bit more defensive against several people but decided I just go wide when I got a faster car up behind me.

I felt like driving a race car tonight and not a train on rails and I had more fun than I had in a long time with this game. I really don't care if I lost because of it and to be honest I think I would have placed the same position with medium as my race line go through the pit with that insane tyrewear. I did a two stopper and it was more tense than ever.

Maybe not the best strategy I have to admit, but the most fun for me. See you after the Easter break. Maybe I keep the hard tyres on my car! lets see.

My overshot on the first stint was caused by a miscalculation on my part as I should of started on lap 11 instead of 12...

It cost me the win aswell.

exactly what happened to me in monza, i think i could of lead the championship if i didn't mess up the tires so much & had my 1st victory in fuji, but i have now understand the import ants of good strategy & luckily i have found great improvement in the lexus with my new tuning base.. its great ..

Nevermind what I said earlier, I just checked out everyone's replay.
I simply need to be faster! :dunce:

I had a funny moment, well not so funny at the moment. i was driving very focussed and when i was on the main straight Erik said "its so quite her, why is everyone so quite. Ok then, everybody is concetrated on racing then" I lost my concetrating braking to late in corner 1. normally i brake aroun 150m. now i did around 100m. I just stopped right before the grass. i lost time but it could gone very bad.

Well, most of the guys on the top of the table Arkano, Propersian, Erik, Zzxxz, Me, Skengdigi practising the whole week or atleast several houres before the race. A good tip would be practise practise practise.

The guys on the bottom of the leaderboard sign-in just before the race whitout or almost whitout any practise.

A extreme case would be Anastasis who signed-up at saturday becaus he forgot the race. He didn't even practise and just before the race he is playing other games. ofcourse he is complaining, his gears were to short. a bit more dedicatitions and practise would solve that.
Erik is not a personal messager to ask every to come racing when its time to race. Its very clear you have to be in the room before the race if you sign-up. Erik needs to know how many drivers racing tonight to set up a room.

Wasn't a bad race for me but if I made less mistakes I think I could have got 2nd place .

Still not bad for a 2 stopper , my last stint was really tough as I pushed a bit too much and didn't have as much tires left as I would have liked .

I'm going to watch the replay sometime today or tonight .

I think ill be trying to hold onto this 3rd place in the championship . It seems to be the highest I can finish nowadays in races (4 in a row) and with falcons recent struggles I think I can cement it in the championship.

Ill still be pushing for another win though , especially at monaco

i think i had a very comfortable win with not to many mistakes.. i liked the couple laps we with erik he was nice and competitive, unfortunately his softs didn't last that long or else it would of been more interesting, props to his start & 1st corner taking the 1st spot from me..

laguna & monaco should be interesting, i think laguna should be another great track for me & my lexus.. monaco also i like the track a lot, got 2nd last season & didn't have much tuning experience so should be a good one also..

but don't know if i will be here for the rest since theres a week break & might not be here till then..

I hope you get to race a few more races Pro , you seem to be the only one who can beat Immortal at the moment.

Eriks outside pass on you in turn 1 lap 1 was indeed a top class move.

Oh yeah, I think it's time to explain my self!
I came back home just in time for the race. I had forgotten my PS3 on with the dirt 2 playing. I went to pick up some food.

I would love for Skengdigi and Arkano to show up on teamspeak as I have a few steward matters to discuss. Me and Maxitsu is already there.

Steward report:

1. First lap.

Turn1: Skengdigi pushes Maxitsu off track, From the view of Skengdigi it could be hard to tell that Maxitsu is where he is, but it is to expect that he should be aware of what happens around him. Maybe Maxitsu should have yielded, but he do have the right to stay were he was.

Maxitsu then returns to the track, he do so in traffic, but he do so parallel to the track and leave a lot of room on the left side of himself. Joey then hits anastasis who then moves into Grayfox who go off track.
Skengdigi get's a 10 second penalty. Rest seemed to be hard to avoid and was no ones fault.

Grayfox lost about 10 second on this and I get back to this longer down here.

2. Lap 6

End of the back straight.
Maxitsu is going into the corner wide leaving room for Troylee to make a pass attempt, it might seem like a bit desperate move, but he did not dive on Maxitsu. Maxitsu turns into the rear end of Troylee so troylee ends up under steering out on the grass. Maxitsu wait for him, but not long enough.
Maxitsu gets a 10 second penalty

Lap 9 IMMORTALTPILOT push ErikAndre71 even though ErikAndre is yielding his position IMMORTALPILOT gives no room even rubs ErikAndre while passing a car that doesn't fight for position
IMMORTALPILOT is also involved when Arkano fly off track in lap 36.
We cannot prove that IMMORTALPILOT push Arkano off track due to lag in the replay, we have to assume the same lag appeared to IMMORTALPILOT as well. What we do expect however is a lot more gentleman like behavior and IMMORTALPILOT get's a 10 second penalty for aggressive driving towards both Arkano and ErikAndre71.
(We know you had the inner line, but you still have to make room to be on the outside)
Arkano had a 10 second penalty going into this race from previous race, this penalty is removed because this incident with IMMORTALPILOT cost him a lot more.

Lap 10 Grayfox is going over the white line exiting pit, even though there is no cars coming up behind this is not allowed and normally this would give a 10 second penalty. Due to the fact he lost about 10 second in the accident in lap 1 the penalty will not count.

None of the penalties were big enough to change the leaderboard.

Taking away my worst result I am 28 pts off Immortals lead , the guy is just too good .

Well let's see how it goes in 2 weeks., let's see if I can make it 5 podiums in a row :)

Would I be able to join in on this series or is it a bit late in the season? I want to compare myself with you guys, and this seems like a top-notch series. Are there any cars open that I could jump into?

i think we should have 1 more spot open if i am right..
if you want to have a little test with one of us i am available right now for a few laps

Great, finally my first win.. been so close at times but unlucky.. and Erik on the tires during qualify i started on softs didn't change tires..

We are actually full, the last signup is just not added to the list yet as I want to see some activity before I add people. But we could accept a reserve driver.

Meaning you could drive when ever we miss one of the regular drivers, and after some experience that happens quite often. We are on average 12-14 racers on each race and then there is room, but should everyone else sign up you will have to stay out.

As you also mention it is late in the season, but that means next season is right around the corner. And if we have a drop out you will become a regular driver.

If this is acceptable for you, you can start with Adding both ErikAndre71 and ICGTC to your friendlist. And if you want to be able to join our Teamspeak server so we can chat during the races send me a private message and you get the IP and password for it.

Yeh I remember that you went out late ProPersian , I guess you were deciding what tire to use and ofcourse seeing what the competition was doing

i was still on the phone talking that was the main reason i think i had 20 or 15 minutes of time .. but ended up all good on pole,

Well I saw everyone on medium when i checked what everyone was on and everyone was on the track. But I noticed you and one more starting the race on soft. It might be that I as the host can't see it so I would have to let others control it. If I did see it correct you both would have to change and I have to trust you guys not to do it.

I'm sorry I blamed you for changing, but on my screen it was clear as day. You entered the track on medium and qualified on soft.

Despite I should have finished fourth last race, at least I have no ballast for Laguna Seca. By record it's not my best track by any means, but at least I've got two weeks to practise for it.

Also it's ridiculously close between me, Maxi and Erik again

Laguna will be a challenge but the 2 weeks practice will help loads .

Another interesting thing I saw in the replay is Arkano mixed the soft and medium tire in one stint , I'm surprised no one has tried this before and I have thought about it before just never tested it .

I guess that's something ill try and test in the future

I did find a mistake to the how to fix your NAT link I have provided so OP is updated with this. I post it here as well as no one seem to re read the OP here asking questions about how many laps we do witch is clearly stated in the OP for every weeks race.
One port was missing.

TCP: 80, 443, 5223
UDP: 3478, 3479, 3658, 5658

The numbers marked red I do believe belong to remote b-spec racing, as port 80 normally is for web pages, and 443 is normally SSL or Secure Sockets Layer and is a commonly-used protocol for managing the security of a message transmission on the Internet. If your not running a web server in your network its safe to open them and you can access your remote b-spec from outside your home, but it doesn't affect us when playing in a private lounge.

Remember if your UnPn is working there is no need to do anything. It will come up as available if its working, if not the port forwarding is needed.

That was actually a silly mistake on my part. I was supposed to pit on lap 21, but I got confused coming out of the last corner and pitted on lap 20 instead. I intended to go on the soft tyre, but I skipped the front tyres by complete accident so I ended up with softs on the rear and mediums on the front.

It made me a little bit quicker, about 3-5 tenths a lap, I had fantastic traction but of course I still only had medium turn-in. If you put softs on front and mediums on the rear I fear you'd only end up spinning out and getting a lot of understeer as the tyres wear out.

Hopefully won't repeat that mistake again. I could really do with a top three finish at Laguna Seca.

Sign me up as a reserve, that's cool. I can run any of the cars I want to then, or would I have to run one that is absent? I don't know if you have a 2 similar cars per field rule or not, so that's why I'm asking. I'll friend you guys as soon as I get on later.
