Oh nice , so we are racing this coming weekend .

ProPersian just saw your msg , send me a msg on gtp when you want to do some practice today

After watching the replay i noticed my gears were a bit long :dopey:

Ah well, i am already thinking about next season(if there is gonna be 4th season) :sly: I wondering what car i should pick.

I like the GTR, i can drive it easly, tuning go's well(after many houres of practise) and my results are nice. If i stay in this car it can save me time becaus i have a decent view on what setup's i should or could use.

But i also want to switch back to the NSX, I like to drive it and want to prove myself i can end high whit it...:boggled:

Erik do you need me to check the race replay? Since I retired the car I don't know anything that happened after lap twelve so I unless there's any specific you'd like me to look at, I won't PM you a race report.

Result list before penalties:

  1. ProPersian
  2. IMMORTALPILOT gap 04.220
  3. skengdigi ------------ 29.776
  4. Maxitsu ------------ 34.832
  5. zzxxz --------------- 54.754
  6. ErikAndre71 ------- 1:06.627
  7. Netherdragon ----- 1:13.968
  8. anastasis14 ------- 1:14.148
  9. Hurleyman24 ------ 1:20.686
  10. Troylee2601 ------- 1:21.160
  11. JoeTruckV8 -------- 2:21.689
  12. C-Falcon89 (DNF) -3 laps
  13. Arkano6 (DNF) -20 laps

Pole position: Skengdigi
Fastest lap: IMMORTALPILOT (1:52.452)

First corner become a mess and after watching the replay several times and discussed it with stewards we come to this conclusion.

Arkano dives into the corner and caused a avoidable accident. He did wait for people but this first corner rule have been discussed several times and he will have a 10 second penalty for his next race.
ProPersian gets a 10 second penalty for causing an avoidable accident to C-Falcon on exit of corner 1.
I know C-Falcon have all 4 wheel outside the track, but this is caused by the accident earlier on and when I checked it proved ProPersian also is on the outside. of the track for a very short period of time. ProPersian have no were near sufficient overlap on either IMMORTALPILOT or C-Falcon to demand a place where it tried to put his car.

Note: we do also know the crash physics in this game suck, but to all the people trying to go 5 side by side after corner 1.. If this would have happened in real life all of you would have waved good bye to the race. We talked about heavy damage and this is closing in for season 4 if this doesn't get any better.

Lap 30 last chicane. Troylee2601 goes off and the re enter to the track is a bit dodgy and Anastasis went off. But Anastasis have full view of what happens in front of him, troylee seems to want to go out of the way, but anastasis aim for the wrong side as it was clearly enough room to go on the inside.
Warning to Troylee, could have made a better effort on re enter

Lap 31 T4 Anastasis push troylee off the track to overtake, clearly made in anger from what happened earlier 10 Second penalty.
You did have the better tyres Anastasis, but this is not how to use them.

Result list after penalties:
  1. IMMORTALPILOT
  2. ProPersian
  3. Skengdigi
  4. Maxitsu
  5. zzxxz
  6. ErikAndre71
  7. Netherdragon
  8. Hurleyman24
  9. Troylee2601
  10. Anastasis14
  11. JoeTruckV8
  12. C-Falcon89
  13. Arkano6

Even though some penalties a very good race by everyone. And most of the penalties is given because we decided to be strict when we decided not to have hard damage. But I guess that's how we learn.

I let you know when I have the leaderboard updated. See you next weekend at Indy.

Quite unfortunate for ProPersian but he can bounce back. He is still second in the points without a race win , that is just amazing .

Looking forward to the next 4 races , I need to do my best before Nurburg 24 hour because I am horrible at that track .

Will be interesting to see how Immortal does with 1230 kg

its unfortunate that i got a penalty but i cannot complain anymore about it.. looking forward to the next track with should be a good one for me too.. pretty technical just like gp so just need to adjust the tuning a little but i guess but i can see a win here if everything goes ok..

ill be on in a minute to test some of my tuning if anyones interested to join in..

and immortals getting a lead in the points slowly.. think we got to try and get some good points to keep up

Ill be on this afternoon around 4 30 pm gmt for some Indy practice , I think this weeks race might be a thrilling one

I seem to have the same luck as Lewis Hamilton the last two races , starting pole and finishing 3rd place

Gutted I have to be miss next week but I dont really get on with indy, then we have our gap so no racing for me for 3 weeks :(

I have a lot happening this week so not much practice for me, but I guess I'll be fine if I don't mess up the start again.

I tried to go online 1 hour ago and I'm just to tired to focus and get some practice from it. Guess I just go to bed as it's just another hard day tomorrow.

They actually found rust on my car when I had it on this vehicle check on friday, checked it out and wow. It's a bit more than a easy fix.
Guess the salt they throw onto the roads here in Norway at wintertime to make the roads less slippery had lunch on my car.

Being from michigan the salt makes just a little rust into a big mess. One question though Erik. Do they mix sand in with the salt in Norway?

I feel for you Erik and know exactly what you are talking about. Living in a Canadian town which host the biggest underground salt mine in the world is not really helping either. You should see the amount of salt they throw here on the road in the winter....it's ridiculous.

They do not mix sand into it, pure salt. They mostly have it on when it's around the freezing point, zero degrees Celsius.

This winter it have been around that temperature all winter, I guess it was the killer. The car starts to get old, but I spent way to much time and money to build it into a stereo car to have the heart to get rid of it. And since I used to be a sheet metal worker, I fix it myself so the cost is minimal. But I'm a bit late with the control, should have been controlled in January and I have 3 months I can delay it. So this sunday it have to be fixed.. or Friday as that's the last they I can have them re check my car. So it's a bit hectic ;)

When I had my car in New York I experienced the salt / rust issue , its just fighting a losing battle trying to prevent it . Especially if you don't have a indoor garage and your car is a daily driver .

In regards to Indy I got a few laps in today but nowhere enough , I actually fell asleep and left the ps3 on , just turned it off .

I am running low 1 29s on the medium tire so far , lots of setup work today , I'm considering a low downforce setup.

Ill be on for practice again this afternoon around 3 30 pm gmt

I'm off the pace so I need to do a few laps everyday to get ready for raceday

EDIT : Offline now , now have a best of 1 28 3xx , my race pace is in the 1 29s (medium tire)
