If You Could only Drive One Car for the Rest of Your Life, What Would it be?

Need 4 doors, big trunk/boot for baby strollers, shopping, flat-pack furniture and perhaps in later life a wheel chair, must be fast AND comfortable, performance on a racetrack is multiple orders of magnitude less important than performance on the road. Probably some sporty station wagon from BMW would be the weapon of choice for the remaining years of my life... The old V10 M5 wagon would have been nice but I'm not sure I could stomach that level of fuel consumption in my retirement.

For all those that have suggested a Lamborghini, Ferrari or similar, I assume that you either have no intention of having children, or that they are already grown up and have their own cars... Furthermore, try imagining your grandparents climbing into one - you'll be that old one day!

Disclaimer - recognize that I am 39 and am in no need for a 'showy' car - I have a wife already and neither need or want another one, but I do have children and own my own home, hence the need for storage!

It would have to be a dual-clutch auto. I'd probably end up with the Panamera as well (assuming it comes with a PDK).

They made it even better, seemingly purpose-built for this thread - it even gets a claimed 67 mpg.

I can't pick one. However, my dream garage:

Mercedes-Benz CL500 '07 (pre facelift) / CL63 AMG '08 (pre facelift) / CLS63 AMG Shooting Brake '12 - I'll take either any day, but it would have to be white. This would be my daily driver.
I know the CL is a car for old people but... I just fell in love with it.

Nissan GT-R (R35) '07-'10 (pre optical facelift) - Another car I'm in love with. If I was to pick just one car to have forever I'd be this. I prefer the clean front without the LEDs of the facelift. Any colour except chrome or pink would do on a GT-R for me, but if I was to pick one, I'd probably go for Al Thani-like turquoise blue.

Lamborghini Murciélago LP670-4 SuperVeloce - Yup. Because the GT-R is not special enough.
Seriously though, I never really liked the shape of the Murciélago until this version was introduced. I love this, especially this, version of this shape. Not to mention this is an insanely expensive, rare, awesome car. Colour would be Al Thani Turquoise Blue as well. Hell, if they sold their SV and I had the money, I'd get it! Instantly!
A Gallardo would do as well. I'd go for a Mark I Special Edition or Superleggera, they make lovely sounds and look great.

The Aston Martin DB 214. One of the most beautiful Astons ever in my opinion. And the fact it's a racing car just adds to the fun! Screw practicality.

Have to say, since that concept emerged it'd be pretty high on my list too.

Yep, love that Panamera concept as much as I hate the current one, in the meantime this new RS7 could be a nice alternative as a great all-round car for most occasions (love the way it looks).

I would pick a GTR Black Edition.I own two gtr's in GT5 both over 700 hp. If I couldn't afford those cars I would pick a Subaru STI with yellow rims and blue paint. Most likely 2006. When they know what they were doing.

At this very second, I'd have to be the Bugatti Veyron, all things aside, whether you like the looks, or the performance, it still is, 10 years on, the ultimate road car, I'd hopefully be able to afford the fuel, service, and maintenance bills, but other than that, what a car.
