If You Could only Drive One Car for the Rest of Your Life, What Would it be?

I would drive the 2012/13 Ford Focus ST in either blue or black. 247bhp wrapped in a practical family hatchback shell.

Kind of a Swiss army knife, really. Very cool knife, it has to be said. I wouldn't want to drive a sports car for the rest of my life.

It's a good old G55 AMG, because the looks of a new G63 AMG are unacceptable to me (bumpers especially).

The lesson of this thread is that people would choose something that would make them miserable.

This lol. Exotics arnt something you want to drive every day. There are sports cars that are drivable every day but for the most part theres alot of tradeoff in comfort and reliability. Not to mention low ride height cars are not fun to drive in the city. Especially if you are from Cleveland where there are giant potholes even downtown by the stadiums, casinos, and other attractions.

If I could keep my car for the rest of my life I would. Infact I've been looking for another one without 200k miles on it since its starting to rust a bit. Sucks living in the "rust belt".

Power everything, 3 petals, solid handling for fwd, good economy, leather, a solid motor, reliable, and it looks nice but dosnt draw attention to me (very important when you like to drive fast).

So many people here that are going to be miserable...

I can't decide between this, and Lancer Evo VI,

or this, a Chevy 2500HD Diesel.

The Lancer would be a good city car, but I think that I'd have to go with the Duramax, I would need a truck in the future. (Unless the Evo will be able to tow a toyhauler.)

Evo or STI are great choices.

I've had an 08 Evo X since Nov 2008. My daily ride. 40k+ miles and running strong-no issues. Only issue was the horrible factory tune on the 08's but that was a quick fix with a Perrin tune. Only other mods are a catback and a dropin air filter-that's all I need for now. Enough power for me. If I ever wanted to go all out with mods I could which is nice to keep in mind. Stock suspension too.

A forever car? I don't know. Could see getting something more comfortable as I get older. Seats are tight and get pretty hard on long trips. But as of now, there isn't another car I'd rather have for a daily. However, I'd love to have a boosted S2K as a garage queen.

I just saw this last night on MotorTrend and I thought, why would anyone ever buy a new porsche if they knew about this?... Unless comfort is slightly more important than power to you. Yet it's still got an alcantara dash, leather wheel and an optional heater.

Saloon - Audi S7 - Long, wide and low

Estate - Citroen DS Estate - A DS but more

SUV - Maserati Leviante - It's a Maserati SUV :sly:

Pick-up - Nissan Navara/Pathfinder - Always been my favourite Pick-up

Muscle - Dodge Charger - Looks and Sounds amazing, simples

Supercar (Option #1) - Maserati MC Stradale - Well, it's my favourite car of all-time :sly:

Supercar (Option #2) - Saleen S7 - My second favourite car of all time

Hatchback - Chrysler Delta - B-E-A-utiful 👍

City Car - Chevrolet Spark - Just so quirky :)

If I had to pick one it'd be a huge decision between the Saleen S7 and the Maserati; but the Italian would undoubtedly win ;)

I would go with a 427 powered Shelby Cobra SC! I know it isn't a practical car, but the 1966 version is my all time favorite!

C6 Corvette with the Z51 option would be cool. Great daily driver/weekend fun machine and low running cost for the performance.
E39 M5 or a Porsche 911 3.2 would be great too but might cost more to run.

Only the best factory made R34 ever!

OK, I changed my mind! Earlier in the thread I said Ferrari 550, but now I'm sort of leaning towards something more along these lines...

That colour, with ultra-dark window tint and chrome rims.
