Me neither

No need to separate G25 users, just don't allow clutch and there's no more problem.
Otherwise it will be like GTacademy G25 Clutch users far ahead 👎

PS: I'm a G25 user too and don't use the clutch

If you look at the actual ranking, Holl01 whom have made an almost perfect lap without clutch is actually 8th at 0.600 of the 1st one using clutch...

I think that clutch is a advantage, but remove it isn't a solution. Why we are going to ban users of G25 use clutch? they bought it for enjoy with it.
The best solution should be a ranking of the other wheels ;)

There is a lot of back channel work going on regarding the clutch and the overall running of this event and I'm sure all these things will be sorted out soon.

What I'm almost certain of is that the use of the clutch will not be outlawed for this first Time Trial combo. It is clear that a lot of time and effort has already been spent on this combo and it would simply be wrong of us to outlaw the clutch mid-race and take away everyone's hard work. However, all clutch users must be prepared for the high probability of seeing the clutch being outlawed for the remaining 9 Time Trials.

i agree with you Wayne, just dont allow clutch period...!!

i whas chasing a clutch user's ghost today and i did the excact same lap as him(brake points, corner lines, accel points, all the same...)only on the straits he takes 0.2-0.3 seconds of my time only by using the clutch to his advantage....even if i would exit the last corner before the start/finish straight faster than him,he would cross the finish line before me !!!!!!!:ouch::ouch:
this has been an issue before in several other timetrails, and this one being so big and great and important(to many of us )it should be as fair as possible, and like this its just not!!....
i am also sorry for the G25 users who enjoy using the clutch, but am sure they also want a fair competition and not win it by having an advantage only by having spend more money on an accessory...

i have bought the DFGT wheel because it is the one that whas made by logitec/pd especially for this game, and feel quiet bummed by seing what i described above....

common guys, lets have a great but FAIR competition here:):):):):):)👍👍👍

spyrrari.

Hi gagbergag, no problem ;)

Hi Baxnimis,

I would like to join the competition.

My ps3 id is westw1 - i am a pad user. I dont have a team, can i go in the GT5Planet team?

I tried to message you but as im a new user i dont have private message function :nervous:

Can you let me know if there's anything else i need to do to register?

Thanks

I'm with matt1245 in this.
I asked about that earlier but nobody answered so:
Are the green areas next to white/red curbs on Fuji a part of the track or not ? I hope not...
Hmm I think Sphinx answered that those are not so every time with going out of red/white thing should be disqualified ..
I think we should not let this issue die without a straight answer.
There are already fast laps using these green areas and we should hear a word about this from "official" organizers :).

We sort of adopted OLR rules from GTRP, but we should clarify this as soon as possible.

Green areas are OFF Track or not?

hi jctraduz, this issue, and clutch using or not, will be clarified very soon by the organization

I ask you all mates to be patient, a little bit more ;)

I'm about to boot up the game, have a look, and then I'll post back to give a verdict on this issue. 👍

Sphinx,

PM'd you regarding the clutch issue.

Green areas are the other problem. Personally they should be banned as well.

It is a shame for the lad as he has obviously put in a lot of work so far and has alot more to do.

Everyone needs to just chill and let this situation be resolved so we can just get on racing.

My advise continue to do your best until these issues ar resolved. Look at it as practice.

👍

Yes, I'm playing catch up at the moment, so please be patient all. 👍

OK, I've done a review of the top 5 replays, and here is my ruling on the matter of using the green areas throughout the track of FUJI Speedway F.

This ruling has been added to the first post of this thread:
https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=111764

and to the first post of the Week 1 thread:
https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=111857

Race Specifics:

Week 1:
All green areas, expect for grass areas are considered part of the track. Be warned however, anything that is beyond these green areas, regardless of compound type, are not considered part of the track.

Please be aware that this is a ruling specifically for Week 1.

Thanx Sphinx for tidying up the green areas, I played it safe as I wasn't sure of the ruling. As far as the clutch is concerned, obviously its an unfair advantage, my view is it probably should be banned for the remaining 9 races, and for this race, a seperate ranking for g25 vs standard wheel should be implemented, as already previously suggested, cheers;)

Just watched your lap mate and you were robbed of first place by a very sloppy lap from Ayrton Senna that went off on the green stuff about 3 times :yuck: If it were my comp that laptime would be kicked in the bin ;) .. Your lap on the other hand is clean as a whistle and how a 1st place laptime should look! totally within the boundaries 👍

Lets hope Ayrton can clean up his lap before the deadline as that sloppiness is not deserving of anything other than deletion

The green area in output curve track ...., is also used in F1 is ...., you saw for example, the final DTM at Hockenheim? All had to be disqualified?

I personnaly don't agree with this rule but as this have not been decided prior to the race, this seems logical 👍

PS: to Ayrton, these area are escape part in F1 racing rules, as we are doing time trial, it's seems more logical not to use them as part of the track :sly:

Sorry for my English but use google translate :-), the organization of the tournament has confirmed the correctness of the tour, stop! In any competition internazzionale the green zone in output curve can be used and was created for this! I hope that in future there will be other unnecessary controversies ...

I agree 100% with you, and i think i can speak in the name of my team that we wouldn´t like to see this rule applied in the next events.

There is no controversies there. Just the fact than in our boards competitions we normally don't use them and keep 2 wheels on the track and not on the green 'escape' areas ;)

Hi all

I think, it's not a good idea to change the reglement during the competition.
not good for the Championship

I m sure that Senna will do next a best laps correctly
