Funny you should say that. Raced 2 other GTExD drivers the other night and got punted off repeatedly by them, too. Pivot was one of them.

it owes us to be an error I don't race with GT5p online from a week and I have never had problems with some, only once in past with Mr.P but we are clarified there.
I am sorry that you say this it has to be a misunderstanding 👍

Are the green areas next to white/red curbs on Fuji a part of the track or not ? I hope not...
Hmm I think Sphinx answered that those are not so every time with going out of red/white thing should be disqualified ..
Edit: Arebufo - nice, perfect, clean lap !
But it proves that clutch should have been prohibited ... :/
After the last corner in a place where green "stuff" ends I always have about 140/142km/h and Arebufo had 149 - at least 7km/h on such a short stretch...

Maybe so , but you were all over, didnt break for anyone , me included a couples of times, thats why I showed you in sand. Or maybe it was lag, but it didnt look that way..

I'd say that was probably Pivot - a couple of days ago he used me as a brake on the last corner of fuji... then after I caught up and overtook, proceeded to do the same to punt me off at turn 2.
Anyway, back to the TT. The green bits are off-limits as far as I was concerned, but I'm still waiting for a ruling on the clutch.
Holl's ghost is bloody amazing, by the way.
'Evolution' keeps going,hope this 'CLUTCH" thing don't get air under it's wings.Earlier in GT-series there were no supporting for clutch,now that there is,injoy it!This is the future,more to real life.If you think it's faster,start to save money for it.When compareing driving feel with or without the clutch,you know whos the winner.Earlier GTP OLR-series didn't have that option,don't fight against 'evolution'.
You miss the point. It's not about evolution, it's about creating an even playing field. I'm lucky in the sense that I'm 22, and could afford to spend however-much-it-is on a G25 if I wanted to. But I don't because it's just a gaming accessory.
All we're asking is for a level playing field, which I think is fair enough since games like GT are popular because it gives those who can't afford to go and participate in motorsport a chance to race. If we're allowing the clutch, it's just giving the ones who throw money at their TVs an unfair advantage.
That being said, I realise this a forum of 'hardcore' fans who will likely retract in horror at what I've just said. Do as you please, it seems the general consensus is against using it though.

Which is why we've got Pad rankings, and wheel rankings.
I see where you're coming from MADFORCE, but the difference here is around a 5x multiplier in price from a basic wheel (which costs less than a DS3) to a clutch bearing G25. Not to mention the fact the 'but its more realistic' argument being negated by the 'on/off' nature of the clutch, where not having to worry about proper clutch use artificially enhances lap times.

This isn't a GTP event so there's nothing I can personally do about the clutch being used in this event.
However, my personal opinion is that the clutch has a huge advantage in this combo and should be outlawed much sooner than later. Anything that can produce a faster time that doesn't require driving skill isn't the way we should be competing. In fact, as it is now, we can't compete, therefore why even try?
If this is "evolution" as someone has mentioned, then the official GT wheel would feature the clutch, but it doesn't, only the G25 does.

reading this thread this evening I realize that clutch is a problem to be solved.
please let me pause and think about it
to those whom advanced the idea of a G25 separated ranking board, think about this:
-) There is an overall ranking.
-) PAD users, have a separate ranking because wheel (G25 or not) users go faster.
-) Following this reasoning "standard" WHEEL users (DFP or others) should have a separate ranking because G25 clutch users go faster.
-) A G25 clutch user is supposed to be at the top of the rankings so he should compete only for the overall ranking.
P.S. I'm a G25 owner, no more using clutch after GTacademy.

The clutch is just too much of an advantage when it is allowed to be used as it will be on most tracks! .. apart from the very fastest of the DFP drivers like Holl0 etc.. the top 10 will be all clutch drivers before every event even starts It's pointless even trying to compete against such an advantage 
No offence to the G25 guys who paid good money for them .. they simply belong in a league of their own for sure! sorry 👍

Personally, I'll have to agree with the points you mentioned.
My position: Overall ranking and, same way as it happens with sixaxis and following the same logic, there should be a separate ranking for pilots using clutch. However, since it would complicate the entire ranking and we would end up with a table for each type of wheel, etc. I believe we should keep it simple and rule clutch out of the competition.
My team's opinion will be issued by our captain RM_GTPT, after discussion in our forum.
Congratulations to the organization. If anything goes wrong from now on, you already showed you're doing your best and the best way.
