Found these guys a year or so ago via a random Facebook post but a recent reference on Speedhunters prompted me to look into them again - a drift team called ShaDynasty who all drive Toyotas. It's very much renewed my interest in TA24 Celicas.

Love them, I saw them at Final Bout III. They drive their cars really hard, its really impressive considering how clean they keep them as well.

Blue one was my favorite =). Has a Beams engine. Front suspension is mostly AE86 parts and the rear end is mainly Supra parts. For sure made me want to get a older celica as well haha.

Here's some cars from a local cars and coffee event last Friday. I missed plenty of cool cars like a classic Porsche 356 (probably a replica but yeah), classic Mercs, 930's and BMW's...etc. Some of these might be already posted but..I'm too lazy to check.

Honda Integria Type R/Acura RSX, it's really rare to find one in Bahrain.

Lamborghini Aventador SV, probably owned by a royal family or some other rich families rather than expats due to the license plate (here's plenty of people here were expats from Europe and North America as well as from some few Asian countries).

Miata NA, another really rare car to spot in Bahrain due to the lack of interest in a small and "slow, feminine looking car".

I wouldn't mind owning an FTO but sadly I can't import one until several years later due to laws and RHD cars aren't allowed anyways.

I remember being 14/15 years old and wanting a CRX to be my first car. Sad to say that i don't see many on the road like I use to. The fast and the Furious ruined the japanese car scene for me and it turned my attention to the "less is more" Volkswagen scene at the time. I fell in love with the mark 2 golf at the time and never looked back. Still wouldn't mind owning a CRX in the future. To bad that there are not many for sale over here at the moment.

I love steel wheels on NA MX5s. You should fit a set.
Have considered it, and I'd love to get a set of Car Make Corn's steel-esque alloys, but probably going to stick with the factory BBS for the time being. Still wallowing in complete indecision as to whether to modify the car, return it to factory standard, or just drive it a bit more and then sell it :indiff:
