Of course the door is at a slightly different angle, its on hinges. It will not sit perfectly matched to the quarter panels, and so it reflects light just a little different.

I thought the same exact thing too, perfect balance. After looking at it for awhile I assumed that it was a trick of the eye. It would be a shame for the color to missmatch on a car like that.

Nice S12 find there! I was looking at getting one of those when I wanted some RWD goodness. I've seen 3 or 4 around here, not too too rare, but not as common as AE86s.

One shows up to drift events with the V6, teh VQ or whatever, running more than enough power.

Uh...haven't there already been pages upon pages with European cars in them, in this thread? I figured it was already agreed that this thread was for the literal definition of "import," and not the ignorant-Japanese-car-fan definition (no offense, I'm not referring to you).

If I find a nice shot of an expensive car, I usualy put it in that Poverty Sexy car thread. There should be an exclusive car thread though, you're right. I'd also like to see a car photography thread (outside from the normal Photography and Graphics forum) where members car post pictures that showcase photographs (their own or otherwise) that distinctly use photographic techniques to accents and beautify a car's lines, design, power or presence. Half the shots in these "nice car picture threads" are just shots of the car in the middle of the frame sitting in a grassy field at some lame meet or at a car show or something. None of them are actually nice photographs.

Anyone agree?

I saw the pictures and thought that it looked nice and wanted to share them, but didn't warrant it's own thread. That's all.

True, Poverty does have a thread for sexy cars, but sexy is usually an opinion. Someone could unmistakenly find Jay Leno's Tank Car sexy. I've thought about a supercar thread, however, there'd have to be a guideline. I'll probably continue to put more thought into it for a while.

wrong use of the term custom however, the general idea is a lot more classic.
for the supercar thing, ok some cars are easily recognised as supercars but where do you draw the line? when is a car not a supercar and just a fast car
