Seeing this thread, one conclusion can be made:

A nice set of rims can even turn the ugliest car into a mean looking machine! (Even Civics! j/k)

I also love those rims on the white EVO, those would so be going on a Supra if I had a rim choice!

That green Ex Lancer is tough as, I think it's from Malaysia or somewhere. I would really like to get my hands on one of those Lancers (preferably a proper GSR) and slap a VR4 motor into it.
There is one with a VR4 motor that rolls around Auckland with a windscreen visor, roof racks and widened Mitsi Sigma steelies. Gives away nothing of the fact that is is packing 350hp and runs mid 12s with little traction.

Ah I did consider that it might be that, but it was in a photobucket account full of Protons so I thought it might have been an older one. And lets be honest, Proton have had a history of using Mitsubishi platforms! Satria, Wira, Persona etc.

Yeah, thanks for noticing. 👍 But to be honest, I don't see anything really good coming from Proton. Most of the are riced and only a few could really stand out. There was one Proton Putra near my area that was totally sick. Had some good bodykits, had a mitsubishi engine swap (not sure which one) and had a mean intercooler setup. Almost looks like it was for real.....

Yeah, and the first Proton, the Saga, was based on a Lancer, but the FWD Mirage-derived Lancer Fiore


The Supra above is also Norwegian and the new Lancer up there is hawt 👍

y'know, If it weren't for the fact that the rest of the car is so awesome, I'd hate that Celica nose. At least it's a serious competition car and not a "SHOW CAR," as one YouTuber once put it. To be honest, the only actual Celica parts on that thing are the headlights.

The pity is that the base cars, whilst not exactly "attractive", are quite clean designs. I imagine a well-done Wira or Coupe could be quite a nice looking tuned car. After all, the early Mitsubishi Evos (I, II and III) look pretty good.

I'm not really liking the Supelica, since I like the Supra nose a lot better anyway, IMO they should have left it on.

Maybe because it's not actually black? The owner describes it as metallic Drunken Olive Green. It's a great colour with a possibly greater name.

Heh, if I actually posted pics from my collection I'd be doing so a lot more often. These are just cool pics/cars I come across during my travels. Also, I think even if I zipped up my car pics folder not many people would be lining up to download 3GB.
