:D

I honestly don't get some of these modified cars... the bodywork is often beautiful, the engines superb, stance spot on, then they are ruined with things like that moronic steering wheel or stupidly stretched tyres... does anyone really think stuff like that looks good?

Surely he didn't actually need the folding wheel hub, but he could afford it. That's usually what it boils down to for people like that.

Note the lack of the radio, or air conditioning. But he gotsta have him some folding steering wheel. That's the point when you reach baller status.

Looks like maybe tomorrow morning I'll go and check out that ae86 I was talking about. He dropped the price overnight so I'm really excited.

Heh...I think my favorite 86 event is the Tsukuba N2 run that Best Motoring does now and again.

By the way...how close is that car to Peoria, IL?

No, it's a 4A-C. the -FE was twincam and injected. This is SOHC and Carb'd. And I've had it more than two years.

Wow, talk about scrawny tires. That thing looks weak.

Any R32 GT-R is stout and that thing wouldn't be running stock boost. 👍 That thing is trying to be stealth. But that's like saying you're making a stealth sidewinder missile. :sly:

Also, if wheels indicated power to you Keef, cars with 30" rims must have 1200hp minimum. :P

I just wasted a whole day looking at that pos corolla. I left town at about 8am and get to chicago around 10am. I waited till 1pm to get a call from this guy and another half hour for him to get to where he wanted to meet up at. The guy was the biggest DB in the world and he lied his ass off on the phone. I get there at it was an SR5 with a shoddy engine swap, the rear diff needed to be rebuilt, the trunk and floor board were rotted through despite him claiming 99% rust free. He wouldn't even let me drive the thing. I went on a ride in it then my friend did and it ended up dying. The guy claimed it ran out of fuel but it was an engine issue. We just left before the guy even got back.
