Q-Mods. I don't care, it's a purple Hyundai with chrome wheels.

I've been in it and it's definitely not questionable. It was a BRAND NEW Excel that was built as a show car by AutoSalon magazine here in Australia and offered as a door prize. My mate was the lucky winner. He then went and got it supercharged and improved the stereo even more. It then won a crapload of trophies as a show car on the show circuit. The paint job was mirror perfect and NO ONE had modified ANY Hyundai as far as this car was back then. Cost....$40k at the time.

Then on top of that, this car was around in 2002, A LOT has changed since then in our scene, like people's tastes in cars.

I'll save whatever else I'm thinking at the moment, except that this car was built when you were in primary school and honestly, don't care what you think as I know how good it REALLY was.

I remember a friend of mine had a Supercharged Excel back around 2000, besides some stripes and some wheels (nothing over the top) it looked pretty stock, was still slow though.

Looks like a cool car club, I'd love most of those motors. Was that R100 really a nine second car or was it just a an optimistic number plate? The rear tyres just look like radials at a glance and I can't fathom someone running 9s in an R100 without slicks.

Optimistic # plate, but the potential was there. It was built by RX Engineering up in Newcastle and running low boost (about 8psi from memory), it ran a 12.1. Mind you, it was still running the matchstick Mazda rear end when it ran that time.

TOOSIK, however WAS a genuine 9sec R100.

Yup. I'll get them....

Just to let you know....the RX7 is an NZ car, it didn't go on any cruises with the Sydneysiders but the owner was a member of the car club nonetheless. All the rest were Sydney local cars at the time.

Cool, I'll bet even a 12/11 second package in an R100 would be scarily awesome. TOOSIK definately looks like a 9 second car, much bigger footprint and the subtle intercooler tucked in the front there behind the bumper.

What about a supercharged RX4? DABUZZ is one excellent sounding machine.

Same. The idea appeals quite a lot, with Civics more than others I think. I'd want to create a Type R version of the saloon...

...or coupe versions of this generation Civic. Make them as good as factory builds.

An S2K that someone's done a pseudo-factory Type R thing to. Champ white, red buckets, sound deadening removal etc. Someone's bound to have done it somewhere.

Its a Ford Fiesta,full evo drivetrain full built Buschur Racing stroker engine with a GT35R over 600bhp,does knockhill in 54 seconds.

Bit nippy.
