Oh look at that, the ziptie is clipped. He must not be trying to look hardcore.
Was thinking of posting that car, but it looked a bit too typical IMO.

I gotta dig this up from a long time ago. A friend was looking through this thread and noticed this car, which is my buddy Mitchell's car. I can't believe I never noticed it before. It's in pieces now though, he's "rebuilding" it. Lots of cool stuff going on, but I doubt it'll be finished soon enough for me to beat him on the track this year. Maybe in 3.
Please explain, because I'm pretty sure nobody agrees with you. Big intercoolers, big stance, big exhausts....what's not to like?

Time_Attack
BMW fever has clearly taken its toll.Way to make me question wanting an M5 more than an NSX, bah!
IMO, a "time attack car" with the stock Brembo brakes removed in favor of a K-sport BBK (
I really don't like the car that much either, and each have their own opinion, but it's a bit annoying when people start classifying entire categories of people based on incorrect, biased assumptions. Like saying that drifters remove their bumpers to look like they were smashed off while doing mad tyte drifts. Or that drifters try to look more hardcore by purposely leaving zip ties unclipped. That sort of thing.DukeI think I'll just keep my mouth shut. There are a dozen things I'll refrain from saying about that car. Wouldn't want to offend anybody's delicate sensibilities.
IMO, a "time attack car" with the stock Brembo brakes removed in favor of a K-sport BBK () belongs in that thread as well, so lets not start pointing fingers.
Was K-sport sponsoring the events about 2 years ago? When the AP racing brakes were removed off the front and "upgraded" with K-sports?Last time i checked it was K-Sports and AP's i guess you don't follow time attack considering they were sponsoring the serious so 96% of the time attack grid had K-sportsbut then again at least it doesn't crash when trying to drive down country roads which seems to happen with Honda and MX-5 drivers eh?

Kind of easy to avoid crashing while only driving at 80% or so of the car's capabilities, with a buttload of runoff space.
Took a corner a bit too fast, car was slowly moving towards the outside until the rear tire dropped off the road. Started to spin, I would have stopped backwards on the other side of the road but a huge truck pulling a trailer came around the corner and wasn't able to stop in time.
Oh well, stuff happens, just sucks that someone else had to be involved.
K-Sport was last year, when the car was rebuild over the winter last year AP's were fitted this year, the 7 has never had AP's on it till this year.
80%ok then at least they know that kind of driving belongs on the track and don't endanger other people when they crash
.
Guess you forgot that?
What are those?
