I wish I had, but this is from a Japanese magazine and its a lot better looking than the one I spotted in HK. The body work on this (Japanese) one looks perfect!
Edit: btw Reckless is the SuperGT team that ran the MRS that won the 2005 GT300 championship

My friend used to work for Reckless. They are an import car dealership based in Fukuoka, Japan. They also had their own racing team as Dac_Xint said.

There will always be hardparkers. It just seems there are more of them in hondas. I used to spend a lot of time on honda-tech and thats 95% of what I saw. I've already said how I've met some cool honda guys at autocross. They are usually really cool people. I just dont run into that type of person as much.

Anything can be made to go fast if you build it right. I can't help but think the average civic would be quicker if it were not being pulled along by the front wheels. I'm not trying to say honda doesn't make decent engines. This was never my point.

I do like turbos a lot. I own an MR2 turbo. There is a lot that can be done with them and the feeling of driving a turbo car is second to none. My AW11 is still NA though and will remain NA. I like NA engines too. High revving fours are fun.

If you really wanted to talk about the companies broader applications it must be mentioned that Toyota also owns Subaru and Yamaha.

It's sad to see that you've grown bitter over the years. :(

You contradict your statement towards FWD lacking sporting credentials by stating that you enjoy Auto-X drivers that are Honda-affiliated. Writing off an entire drivetrain, based on a bitter bias towards certain Honda enthusiasts is just blatantly ignorant and obtuse. If FWD motorsports was a joke, there would be a LOT of cultural motorsport icons to take into consideration (the Mini being the most prevalent in my mind).

Sadly, you're correct that a lot of Hondas out there have owners that seek no sport and aim for the "look" and shoot for the latest and greatest trends, wallet in-hand. And, admittedly, a huge portion of the "trendists" congregate on Honda-Tech and other similar sites. But, that can be said for many hobbyist groups. It's often commented that Honda enthusiasts follow the trends that Volkswagen enthusiasts bring about. If that's true, your hatred should lie on their doorstep, not on Honda's. But, being that tastes differ per person, what you hate/love is going to be different than others out there. You just can't seem to accept that. You're not 100% correct every day in your life, and no one ever is. That is why humans are fallible. You need to accept differences, not hate them.

Some FWD love:

The US Honda scene is following the US VW scene, there's no lying there. The US import scenes are just following Japanese and euro scenes, no lying there either. But.. as long as it works I don't really care, just don't build a Honda with a rust hood and wide steels and call it 2010 look :)

Disregarding all FWD cars by saying there are no sportiness says more about time attack than the FWD cars..
Love the way they hold on through the corner, how they give you extra feedback through the steering wheel in the form of light torque steer.. I usually say that you hate FWD cars because you can't drive one properly. I own and love both, RWD sedans, FWD hatches. RWD for roundabouts/general hooliganism, FWD for driving properly fast. The last time I had a real blast was in a 90 bhp VOLKSWAGEN Golf, that actually made me more tingly inside than drifting along a snowy road in my RWD Toyota (which apparently is the end-all be-all car to own).

more FWD love even tough I dont like FWD, I just thought this picture was pin-neat:

57.578 makes it one of the fastest NA cars around Tsukuba. Possibly the fastest NSX, too.

When you start dealing with 200 HP figures, you start to hate FWD. Chronic understeer if you get into the gas is just frustrating, and the greater tendency to one tire fire is painful in tight corners. Even on sweepers, you have to wait to get into the gas later than you would in RWD.

According to the motoring press, Renualt seem to have little problem deploying 250 bhp through the front wheels in the Megane R26R and the new Megane Cup.

Well there IS Ford's Magic Front-End Geometry...

I can only do so much. The traction circle cannot be defeated.

Doesn't that particular Renault run semi slick tyres though?
Yes, it does. The tires are the only reason it's the "king" of the sport compact crowd. I'll take a Cobalt SS with a Mountain Dew in the cupholder, thanks.

Cobalt SS ftw.
It's the most unrecognized sport compact car out there with fwd turbo engine that can whip up on most any other fwd car out there.
Awesome car for the money and with a little tuning can do 330whp on stock components and burn most anything in it's class on the road course.

Import thread, bud. ;) As for the Cobalts, they can be nice... but I'll never be able to get over the "cat in heat" appearance they have (trunk line exceedingly higher than hood line).

Hey Fred, you may get a kick out of my friend's Type-R:
