I'll disagree with you, because I hate chrome wheels. :yuck:
They're not chrome. Otherwise I'd agree with you, I hate chrome. Also, I'm not sure you've seen the car in it's previous state. TE-37s are one of my all time favorite wheels, but they looked less than spectacular in 19's on that car.

EDIT: @Keef[, I don't know if you've seen a white car before, but they generally aren't covered in mirror reflections of everything around them, instead if sort of has a soft look to it, not to mention the fact that it's in a shop on a lift hints that they had been working on it, not waxing the paint. As far as fitment goes, only the front of the hood fits bad, everything else looks fine. Overall it's a much better result than a stock s15 with massively oversize wheels IMO.

Keef's got a point...
Panel fit, especially on the front of the car, is crap. There's the obvious gap between the bumper and hood. Plus, on the right side, the fender is low and on the left the fender is high (to the hood). Probably been smacked at one point...

Also, all but the most neglected white should have more gloss than that - Especially in a shop with that kind of lighting. It's in pretty poor shape.

Plus the wheels... no thanks.

Polished aluminum....close enough. Still "blingy" to me.

I know what you mean! I hate the bling Rims, and especially in a Japanese car... Maybe in a Mercedes sedan that kind of rims could work but not in a JDM!

Ferrari F50 GT1. Apparently 3 exist so there aren't alot of good photos.

 No kidding, but its probably as large as it needs to be plus it may seem smaller from being overshadowed by the rest of the car. I wish it had better fitment though.

@THMotorsports Impreza:

The only thing in that car that doesn't need work are the wheels and tires. Also, I think that by them saying "work in progress" means they just have more parts to add on. Not necessarily fixing the ones they have on it now, especially considering how much work it seems they put into that "diffuser" and "splitter."

*Great pics of F50 GT1*

I love the car for sure, but when I saw the exhausts in that pic I was like those belong on a Honda Accord... not a F50 GT1... :P But youre probably right and theyre as big as they "need" to be 👍

Funny you say that--those aren't the wheels they'll be running at all, and they certainly won't be on street tires in the Modified class for RTA, so those Direzzas are gone as well. Those pics were from an auto-x shakedown. The brakes are staying, the wing is definitely staying, the "splitter" (no idea why you'd put it in quotes as there's nothing wrong with it) is staying, and that's about it.

Yeah I kind of figured they would get different wheels and tires for any actual time attack competition.

For one, the "splitter" as a whole is angled up since it appears they simply bolted the thing to the bottom of the bumper and used the links to keep it from flapping around. And the diffuser is no diffuser either. If anything it is a "wing" bolted underneath the bumper since it would function in that manner and nothing like a diffuser.

I usually frown upon those who quote pictures right after a post but damn....... i came

Those are my friend's photos. He's also seen one on a dyno IIRC.

His youtube is the same as his flickr: erdero

I'm sorry. I'm just used to all the negativity in this thread that I get a little bit hostile.

Sadly not only in this thread these days.. It's all over the interwebzz. 👎

Some EE9 pr0n..

Sorry for the bad quality but I think this car is HAWWT!

THMotorsport's new track car, still a work in progress:

Function over form.. I'd really want to see an airflow over that car to see if that kind of difusor really has function..

SORRY! I double posted.. Won't happen again!

Because you know, race cars require giant sets of fart cans to be or sound this fast.
*F50 clip*

I'm not throwing some fit or anything, merely pointing out a silly post; calm as can be.

You need to re-think before you try to post something like that.

My pea shooter comment was sarcastic and NOT implying it needed a fart can (Thats all you right there)... hence the smiley.... And its all good if you think its silly a comment but your making yourself look like an ass by taking EVERYTHING so seriously and not reading further on, because then you wouldve read this post....

So have a coke and a smile and chill out...

I don't think he was saying that in a bad way, dude. Calm the hell down.

Atleast SOMEONE got it.... 👍

Except it took someone to bring up the fact that they're that size for a reason. Only then did you say, "Oh yeah, that's right, LOL!" though you originally thought they belonged on a Honda because they were so small which means you have this idea in your head that race exhausts are always large. If you didn't, your brain wouldn't have gone to the Honda exhaust to begin with.

You can make up any little excuse you want, but between the lines, you admitted you didn't know better. Don't blame me because one of us actually knows their stuff on the car.

 Dont make me laugh.. I'm not some ricing 16 year old who owns a honda that I think can smoke everyone... I am very knowledgeable about cars since I've been interested in them since I was little. That comment was sarcastic and in NO WAY, no matter what you say, implying it needed a fart can... I am against fart cans... But in THAT particular picture the exhausts looked very small compared to the rest of the car... Case closed... you can look for little hidden meanings in what I say to justify your comments, but I see right through that... You know you are the one who looks foolish here so you retort with a smart reply like the one above... Dont play games with me I dont have time for that.

I love the internet.. Everyone can judge paint quality and the likes as good as anyone else.

Have it occurred to you that the car might not be done? Or washed? Or that the hood isn't closed?

It's less a diffuser than it is a bit scoop, grabbing air from under the car and throwing it upwards. The idea behind a diffuser is to reduce lift without increasing drag, and this thing definitely won't do that.

It seems you do considering you continue to draw up these replies trying to cover your tail. But, since you seem convinced that you knew all along about the car, despite that your earlier post says otherwise, I'll just be the bigger man & let you go on believing you know more than you really do.
