Massive car is massive.

Makes the R34 look slim... and lord knows it's a big car.

Someone's been playing with the funhouse mirrors again... that second pic gives me headaches from the forced perspective...

That's the main thing I don't like about new cars in general. They're all freaking huge!

everyone wants more space and safety. Not many people like driving little cars.

Which is a shame, id love a little light, RWD cheapish car but they barely exist.

I never knew the R35 was such a big car. :embarrassed:

Yeah, when I bought my Nissan I was talking to the salesman about the GTR they had in the showroom. He said it's a really good car and unbelievably fast but very scary to drive in built-up areas because of its size (and cost to repair!).

Keeping in mind the R35 was designed not just to go like the clappers, but also be a comfortable, practical 2+2 that would be no problem driving everyday.

Funny thing is, in person, I feel the R34 GTR is a bigger car than the R35 (obviously sighting them not together in 2 different places).

Very very big car!! And its even bigger in real life:crazy:! Ive seen 3 here in Lisbon:drool:!

I've seen an R35 in real life and it's definitely bigger than the one in the image Fred posted...certainly on my monitor anyway. :sly:

Bah, size isn't an issue, the possible inability to see the car's corners is. I'll happily squeeze my five metres long estate into gap X as long as it's physically possible but I wouldn't even try to get a Yaris in there because there's no way to see the front extremities.

But on the subject. Sadly these are getting increasingly common here, nobody will notice a GT-R if such a rarity comes across when a GTS is a commonality.

Those SW20s are rather lovely.

And on the subject of big cars, is it just me or does that 350Z next to the black MR2 actually look to be quite small as modern cars go?...

It is a bit of both. The 350Z isn't quite as big as it looks, but the SW20 is rather large compared to the AW11 or MR-S. And a little trick of the camera there....

Its really no larger than the average integra. I believe turbo models came in around 2700lbs before options so they weren't that heavy either.

Which is huge compared to the MR-S at 2150 pounds, since there were no options really.
