I really like the idea of an LS-swapped RX7. It's a beautiful car but I have much more faith in the V8's usability and reliability. That, and I've never really been overly fussed on the sound of a rotary, but quite like V8s.

I like me some rotary sound.

Rotary = Mmmmmmmmmmmm. :dopey:

Edit: Rotary with porting = even more awesome.

Not a blatant copy of a Weds Sport TC105N or anything
Wasn't using my own computer, so I didn't want to get too into it, but yeah, not a blatant copy of the Weds TC105N.

They have the stepped spokes on both sides of each spoke, where the TC105N have them only on the insides of every two spokes. The spokes on the XXRs go right to the edge of the wheel were the Weds have a little more of a lip. Also the XXRs are a much more concave face, and the Weds, even in the low offset face still have only a somewhat concave face with a deep hub section.

Yeah, I'd definitely say they were most inspired by the TC105N, but they are different enough that they're easily identifiable and I don't think anyone would get them confused.
 
Autobacs get their own car, and hundreds of Recaros.

In the UK, we get Halfords, which is a bunch of spotty teenagers dressed in orange who can't tell the difference between an air freshener and a spark plug surrounded by a bomb site of overpriced crap:

Tuning a car is expensive. Even when you're going bang for the buck. It's just the nature of it. Keep in mind that the tuning scene is essentially the watering down of what is happening in motorsports. And we all know motorsports is what invented gold and money.
 
That Skyline picture is pretty awesome. I'm getting sort of tired of this constant debate over the same thing all the time and how tuning is useless or if it expensive or if you don't use the right parts it's not worth it. It has just been discussed way too much, it doesn't need more discussion. I feel like the MT vs DCT discussion on M3post, its just tiring, have your opinion and share it if you want, but don't keep bringing the same thing up when it has already been done, it gets boring, and that goes for everyone that does it, including me sometimes. Ok rant ended, now for some pics:

What in the world are you talking about? Clearly not about anything in regards to what has been discussed here in the last few days let alone what my last post said. Maybe you missed the slight sarcasm in it. Here, I'll post it again. In simple terms...
