Heh, that blue miata with the tow hook and cage is the same one that was under a semi truck on the highway a while back that caused quite a stir.
You mean this one:

There wasn't a single car with excessive camber on this page until the green sedan was posted. Light green Miata is borderline, but not really that bad.Has this become a camber appreciation thread?
You have to pay to play with newer M3s. The price of exhausts for these cars is high as well & they're usually nothing more than axle-backs that offer very little horsepower to the car. They're more noise-makers than anything. That front lip is the nicest I've seen in the E92 M3. The problem with visual mods on that car is that they're just too damn expensive IMO.
EDIT: I mean, some mods are well priced, but 2500 for a front lip seems like too much for me.

It's a bit of a similar issue with the Acura as well. Most folks have found that Honda pretty much got all they wanted out of the J35A8 in our cars, so what little engine work that can be done (Port/polish & what not) isn't really going to give any noticeable gains until you've done numerous mods, which by then, you've already shelled out quite a bit of cash. As most have found, the biggest adders are exhaust parts & the JandR Turbo.I've ran into the same discussion with people about the more highly tuned Hondas (with K20s or F20/22s), and that is, these cars are already very highly optimized from the factory. Intakes need to be designed to be at no risk of sucking up water, and sometimes to be quiet, that's the only limitation on designing a good one. The biggest gains you should see on cars with high specific horsepower figures will be header(s) and getting rid of the catalytic converter(s). An M3's factory catback probably flows very well, at least matched with the stock header and cats. Within the limits of meeting emissions and noise requirements, an M3 is already highly efficient.
