And wasn't very successful either. In fact, the photo posted above is a pretty good example of what it did 100 percent of the time. It sure was a exciting to watch though.

Because awesome nostalgic roadster look.
Although I prefer the more "hidden" appearance on the Miata. I was also hoping that it would make it a bit quieter, which it did. Barely.

One of my friends was going to do that to his '97 Outback wagon but the purchase of the engine fell through, so he went back to a 2.2L w/2.5 heads + Turbo setup on E85.
I've never understood the meaning behind that. To people that don't know any hidden meaning, it makes it look like the driver of that car likes underage girls.
When I get another one of these, that is the exhaust I want.

On the subject of RX-7 rally cars, as somebody pointed out earlier, they were constantly sideways 100% of the time. They did pretty decently though, I believe an RX-7 got third at the rally acropolis. The first gen was more of a monster in IMSA, racking up over 100 wins and multiple titles. They also competed, and did respectably at the 24 hours of Le Mans several times. Anyways, here is some gratuitous drifting:

Sometimes it seems like one could make a "Stig opening sentence" but instead with R1600Turbo and regarding his lack of humor (note the laughing face in the end implying the joke in the sense that I do not trully know what his humor is like. In case you were to miss that )
