I'd love to see them design a time attack car that's truly competitive. The newer 911s would be good candidates.

Sure does look like Cita di Aria!

And because Toda Racing and engineering is awesome. And also why I don't support knockoff manufacturers.

5 Axis mills (if anyone here has seen videos of those things working. It's pretty amazing)

And this, a stroker kit for the F355. Raising stroke up to 85mm, resulting with a matched 85mmx85mm bore:stroke ratio and the "Mastu" Spec version of the kit (there are 3 versions) will bump the compression ratio up to 13.3:1.

Pure automotive mechanical porn.

It isn't. It's a real town in Italy called Assisi. I've been there. They made the streets much wider, but all in all I could follow where the circuit went for the most part.

Thanks for the info 👍

And definitely some engine porn up there. Reminds me of a post I made a while back of the BTCC-spec DC5 Integra Type-R. Here's the engine:

Love the engineering that goes into BTCC cars. The BMW 320si is probably the most immaculate, but the DC5 got close.

Fun Fact: That Celica was designed to be used on the abandoned highways of tomorrow... Where law is another word for vengeance... Where justice is a forgotten memory...

Mad Makoto!

That's a lot of money for a collection of such 🤬 cars.

I'm not gonna lie - I was wondering why someone would spend so much money on something so... boring. I'm hoping really that it's an owners club meet and they're all just on his driveway for show. His less tedious NSX is just out of shot...
