Start up videos are eminent!

Oh my. That's a lot of brap brap on that wankel picture.. Hurley Engineering has made one too, claiming 900bhp. How much should this one do?

It's amazing how few pictures there actually were of the Blancpain Edition up until the past couple months when Lamborghini Las Vegas got #11/12 in for sale. Quite a machine, & in the words of a man who got to drive one & a Super Trofeo recently, the Blancpain is still a little bit more track-oriented at its core.

The rest of pics in the post are equally astounding. 👍

Reminds me of my first car... A K11 March/Micra in that exact same colour. Man, I had some serious fun in that car. In a lot of ways

They're becoming popular to play about with now as they're dirt cheap to buy (easy to get one for far less than a grand) and cost pennies to run. Easy to find wheels for as well, with a 4x100 bolt pattern. I'm actually quite tempted myself!

Well, they're not too bad. Just make sure to check the camshaft drivechain if you do want to get one. They're not properly lubricated on a lot of the older models, it seems, so they can easily brake - which'll ruin an otherwise bulletproof engine. Killed the first engine in my K11, at least.

But yeah, they're super cheap to run. I had the small 1 litre engine, with the 60HP or whatever. Ran on less than 5 litres per 100km / got more than 47 miles per gallon (US) out of it. And insurance and taxes were dirt cheap, too.

Don't expect it to be much fun to drive, though. It's light so you can hoon around a bit, but it's not exactly a drivers car, in my opinion. Steering isn't too precise and going fast will make you feel as if the whole thing is going to fall apart, soon. Was still kinda fun, though.

As long as there's nobody on the rear seats, though, it's suprisingly roomy. My 186cm / 6'1'' self fit in there perfectly fine.

Apparently PPRE has received support from Mazda themselves! I'm not exactly sure in what capacity, but they definitely know of the 6 rota existence!

Can anyone in this thread please explain to be what Gatebil is in a coherent manner? Places like Speedhunters have a difficult time describing what the event actually is, or what it could be compared to.

I kind of get the idea that it's just some kind of automotive free-for-all festival where people do some laps sideways and then there's this kind of party scene surrounding the track for a couple days.

Thanks, and for the help:
