Depends what you're used to, I suppose, and what seems more exotic. England is lauded for its verdant scenery and beautiful landscapes but I've been through bits of Europe and the U.S. that make the UK's most spectacular terrain look pretty dull.

It's the same story here in NZ. We're often regarded as to having a beautiful country but I can't help to just disregard it and prefer Japan's.

Maybe it's because everything is so green. Everywhere you look here is either desert tan or brown.
