Next test session is Friday 4th.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
This race will have a rolling start. When we leave the grid, stay in grid order, in roughly single file, and safely spaced. Do not exceed 60mph/100kph. Proceed thus through the first chicane, until the first timing gantry on the following straight. Accelerate into full racing conditions when you reach this gantry (NOT BEFORE IT). This is to ensure a clean start. We will practice this tonight and on Friday.

You've signed up, so I consider you committed. If you fail to turn up without messaging with an valid excuse, this will affect your likelihood of being accepted into future races (there will be a 'sequel' to this race in a few weeks!!). Please do not quit during the race without good reason. Also, for the last racer running (without having been lapped), there will be a Fighting Spirit Prize... ;) So like the Peter Gabriel song goes, Don't Give Up!!!

How many laps is that?

It's going to be 3 hours, around 22 laps for the SUBARU pace, but the limit is going to be the time. Let's discuss it in the thread :)

Last night was ok, I was well of the pace

I'm sorry I could not make it yesterday also :ouch:, but I'll be there for the race 👍

Sorry Tiagodh, I only noticed the '1' in your PSN username...! I'll send you an add when I'm next on.

As for practice last night, my whole net was interrupted...praying it doesn't happen again tomorrow...

Sorry man, I know it's last minuite but I won't be able to race tonight as I have to do a nightshift at work, sorry

Outstanding race, thanks to all who turned up. Vegard dominated and finished over a minute ahead of me and GP, proving the supremacy of the '05 Type RA. Little wonder, as the car was set up specifically for the Nürb! A first-rate driver at the wheel, too.

I found the Evo 9 fairly good all round, but was hard on the front shoes, and thus suffered badly from understeer as the laps rolled on. A one-stop strategy didn't really cut it for a victory shot, and an early spin before the Foxhole put me well out of contention. Through the remainder of the race, places changed often with the different pit strategies, I opted for SH at the front and CS at the rear, and in the final quarter I had a fight on with Gprili, both of us making a couple of mistakes each over the last three laps. Last lap, I managed to dummy him down the final straight using 3/4 throttle to get him to slipstream past early, before gunning it and getting 2nd back before the Bilstein bridge. Great fight, and a gap of around half a second crossing the line.

Whosoli, I appreciate the message - c'est la vie. You're welcome to enter the next race, if you can make it. TRP_SAFFY, meanwhile, is not.

A great night's racing, only an hour 45. In fact, the RA has given me an idea for another race...watch this forum...

Great race, altough my car was also pretty heavy on the front tyres I couldn't keep up with the rest of the pack, let's see if next time I'll do a better choice.
Great driving from Vegard and all who raced today, can't wait for the next race! 👍
