Thanks to GTPs twistybits-oldnail-jh001-enigma-kemp,the BTH guys and cpt_disaster for the great races.i didnt have a lot of time today so i run only 2 races.hopefully tomorrow i'll have more time to spend.
At least i've manage my best personal time 1:50:160.
But no way below 50s:(
Sorry to cpr_disaster for a ''touch''we had at a corner.
I break like crazy and lost a bit of control hopefully without any penalty for both of us:)

Some more excellent racing tonight with Chunkee_Monkey, BTH_Szoag, GTRP_Thunder__7, GTP_jh001, oct262, Blitz187, GTP_Enigma, cpt_disaster and others I can't remember! although sometimes a bit spoiled by the usual suspect Siegmund40, I really do not know what his problem is! Improved best lap to 1:50.679, gradually getting there! Hopefully more of the same tomorrow!

I'm done for the night, shout out to jh001, oldnail, daan, crispy(keeping me laughing via pm), Swe_1, hope to catch you again.
In the sin bin the usual suspect and the WGP racer who still insists on using as much run off as possible

Till next time, keep smiling no matter what takes you out

Awesome racing tonight, until our pathetic German friend turned up. Great racing from chunkee_monkey, oldnail, oct, swe_1, wgp_lelek, twisty, cpt disaster, szoag and spyrrari. More tomorrow 👍

Just received a pm off siegmund40

"dirty nig ger with a monkey face"

I was quite pleased that I kept up with you and Swe_1 for a couple of laps during 1 race. Swe_1 just disappeared though (He was there just in front of me. Then he vanished...) and then you disappeared too (by driving quicker than I could manage...)

Thanks to all the firm but fair racers out there tonight, the GTP guys and others mentioned here. Great competition ! I'll have to get faster and keep out of your way !

Had some nice races here before Champions League started... Feels good to be out on track again... Its been a while and I'd like to apologize to OldNail for a nasty brake check coming into the chicane, I hit the brakes early there... and I think I hit Swe_1 a couple of times too... Sorry guys... I'm a bit sloppy at the moment because I havent been out in a while... It will come back though... fastest until now was a 1.52,988 free air but I think i'll be going a little faster with some more seat time... :) and my tune needs tweakin'... looks like settings from a year ago just dont cut it anymore...

That did take me by surprise a bit! I thought perhaps you had developed a nice textbook slow in fast out technique!

 You could also interpret it like that... Sounds a lot better atleast then, "Sorry for the brake check there... " Oh well, Im definitely going to come out for some more and hopefully I can get back on pace again...

Some good and some bad races yesterday....but mostly fair, close and fun ones...👍

Thanks to the guys i raced (cpt disaster/jh001/and more.....),i also had some really great races with several Japaneese dudes who were a bit rough at first, but after some pm's we raced incredably close and fair :) :) :) .

Having not raced for 3 weeks(whas on holiday and the TT-challenge)i am happy to see there is still a healthy bunch of people racing prologue at the moment....👍

Hopefully some more to come today...

Two races with you all and two spins on 100R

Then I had a good race with Kemp and another guy.

Here's a race from earlier. Only 4 of us, but we were pretty close all race. The others were Crispy, Spyrarri and Simox76 (I think. I can't quite make it out on the video).

Thanks to the guys for waiting at the start. 👍

Hey guys, first post here.

I've been racing this event for the last couple of nights and I've had some great races. I recognize a lot of the names on here; some of you are pretty damn quick drivers!

Cheers

Hello everyone

Just wanted to say I've been racing in this event for a while (and stalking this thread), and while it is a lot of fun, I realized that I seriously suck. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong (either bad driving skills or a badly tuned car), but I need to change something. What all have you guys been running in terms of tires, power, and weight? I've been using S3/S1 with 85% weight and +29 power, and while I do decent in the first two sectors, the last one kills me for sure. However, when I was trying R1/S1, while I did turn really good, I still lost loads of ground to everyone (mostly on the long straight).

Anyways, hopefully I can sort out what the problem is with my slow lap times and I can be racing up front with all the guys (and gals) here.

oh, and if you see me flying past you in the first turn, that's me trying to brake late and failing miserably. you won't see it as often now because I found a decent braking point, but it still happens. Just don't want you guys to think I'm trying to punt you.

Hey Belisario

I'm using the tune on the first page of the thread. My advice is stick to that and keep it as smooth as possible on the track!

Hey Bel, welcome to the cup! I think you may be giving up too much traction with those combinations- I would recommend trying r1/s3 or one step in either direction front or rear. There are some laps on gtdb.net that you can download to compare your driving with- they all have an R front, so you will be able to see how to adjust your tactics from your current set-up.

See you on the track!

yeah, I've tried out LizMcQueen's setup on the front page and it's working wonders for me. I still have some actual technique to develop, but at least now I'm somewhat competitive for the second to last position

Thanks for the fun

PS: Finally this evening I met siegmund, very nice guy... with him on the track each race is an adventure, a dangerous adventure.

Thanks Zissou, Indeed some nice racing been going on tonight....

Enigma, alexi, crispy and all other names that I can't recall sorry for any touch or bump

Lotrzyna that .014 was nice one 👍 if only #$%!@^*&&^🤬 you know what I mean.

Thanks all for the intense night and the adrenaline rush....

 all

So I also had the "pleasure" of racing with siegmund tonight. Getting punted, run off into the grass, it's a good old time. He's JUST fast enough to be a pain in the ass. However once he's out of your draft he's of no concern.

I feel that playing the draft aspect of the game is very important on this track. The last thing you want to do is come around the final corner in the lead, with a car close behind on the final lap.

LizMcQueen, if that's you PSN name as well then we had couple good races tonight. Cheers.
