Which one sounds the most interesting with you?

BMW Z4 - low HP and extremely easy to handle.
Fixed Sport suspension and Stock Transmission (similar to the Flying miata Series)

'69 Camaro RM vs '70 Challenger RM series - A mixed series between the Challenger RM and Camaro RM. Ive matched them pretty closely so it will be an even fight to the finish. Cars are fully customizable and they sound great!

Both are ready to go. Just wondering which one people would rather do. Once I get the votes in, I will make the thread right away for people to sign up.

I've yet to even drive that Beamer, but have spent a lot of miles in both the Z28 and the Chally, would love to drive either of 'em in a vs. battle

The Z4 handles like its on rails and the oversteer is so controllable that a child can drift with it. The muscle cars are really fun to drive, pretty powerful cars and if not careful the understeer will get you coming into a turn as well as the oversteer coming out of a turn. You would have to be super gentle with these cars or your race will be done.

F.Y.I. I tested the muscle cars on Madrid Mini a simple course with tight turns and long straights. This course was chosen to minimize driver error. I did about 15-20 laps in both cars to get a feel for them and push them as hard as possible without messing up. Camaro has acceleration but the challenger is on rails when taking turns, (the car is planted is what I am saying) but in the end, both cars are within .05 seconds of each other on fastest lap. Of course both cars can be modified to suit everyones own driving style so I bet those times can be even faster then mine. I used the default setting for both of them except set the transmission to 280 kmh for both, max downforce in the front and back, as well as lowering both of them all the way to -25 in the front and back of the cars. As even as can be. LSD and other suspension settings were not touched at all! I made these cars as even as i possibly can. I enjoy driving the Z4 a lot more then the muscle cars, but having a mixed series would be even more fun!

Bump could use more votes, if people could just post to keep this thread up on the first page for awhile. Which ever one has the most votes by tomorrow night will be the one I'll host. So far the Z4 has more votes, probably because it is similar to the Miata series and easy to drive.

I'm probably in for either series. That will depend on race dates/times, as well as rules and tracks.

I was thinking of having the races mid-week, already so many races on the weekends. I will have the qualifying days on tuesday and wednesday and the race is thursday. Probably around 8 PM or something. If that doesnt workout for everyone, I can change it of course. Rules are basically the same as most. Tracks for the Z4 series are all smaller tracks mixed in with a few City tracks like Madrid and my own custom track on Mt. Aso. For the Muscle cars, it would be American tracks and bigger ones because there cars have a lot of power.

Damage? Penalties? Aids?

For both there wont be any aids except for 1 ABS, Light damage, false starts, no penalties as I will be reviewing the replays to give out faults because the penalty system in the game isn't that great. Both series will have 6 races which includes 1 pre-season race.

I guess I will be hosting the BMW Z4 series. I will be posting up the Official Thread tomorrow. First race will be on June 30th at 8 PM. Date might change depending on everyones availability.
