Guys, I was thinking that for the **Wild Card** Track event, we could either here, all vote for a track or on that Sunday, do a Track Vote for any Non- America track and see what wins?

I like the idea of going international. If we do that, I think we should drop one of the fictional tracks, i.e. Grand Valley or Trial Mountain. This way the schedule stays at a nice even 8 races.
I'm going to do some 500pp testing on ss tires sometime later today. Probably be a public lobby.

I didn't realise how many have actually participated. Thank you to all that stuck with it and helped make the season agreat one!
The most improved driver would have to be Coolracer101 in G1 class. Every race, he finished better then the previous one.
The most consistant driver would definately be GTP_CobraMustang. Out of 14 total races, he finished 4th in 11 of them, and 4th in every G2 race.

I noticed that I managed to nudge Cobra out of 4th in G2...hmm... do I smell a season 2 rivalry?
I guess finishing 4th in every race does not guarantee you 4th place...
Kal, by the way, when you take a photo of the "results", they don't really count as "results" when there are people still "running".

I'm changing my number to 4. And I should of had a first or second in that Daytona race but Kal got loose on the 2nd to last lap and I spun out and let you guys get the lead

What color are you using to make the car look 'Panther Pink'
As I'm sure you know, they really messed up with the shade they used for Panther Pink, it almost looks brown.

And then Skelator has to review all of Kals results to verify the validity of said results.
After all this is done and the results are triple checked I will then accept the fact that I finished 4th and 5th.

After further review, there was an error in the standings regarding CobraMustang, turns out he took last every race!
I did the same thing with the same car, but it was the Matte Black I was after.

After Review, I decided I stopped caring. this relationship is nolonger needed and I have moved on.

Hey guys, did some testing with Kal tonight with sport softs on my 550 z28, and I think he made a believer outa me. I certainly couldn't just drop the hammer on exit like I've become used to, but it was definitely controllable. I also notice that Kal (550 Chally w/sports) was unable to just run away from me, which I also had become accustomed to.
We discussed it, and propose leaving Group 2 at 550pp, changing to sport softs, and setting the laps to around half of Group 1 laps.
Before anyone shoots this idea down, please run some honest laps with this PP/tire combo. It will slow down the cars a bit, but still very race-able. The goal here is to put a little more separation between the two classes, as we are currently almost running the same cars at the same lap times in both classes. Also, running with 550pp and SS tires keeps all the G2 cars pretty even, changing the PP would not

Yup. I believe the 550PP limit is okay, but the Sports Soft Tires will further more separate the two class giving each it's distinctive feel. Also Halving the Group II laps will keep the time down and further more make Group I the main ordeal as many like.
I still do not impose any Tire restrictions on group I, and will never. I just want the two groups to have more a different feel from each other.

You guys all know where I stand on SS tires. Glad to see some of you coming around to the idea. 550pp might be a little much for some cars, like the GT350R.
I like the more realistic feel. I like the car sliding around on me. I like controlling wheel spin exiting corners. To me, that makes it more fun. You can't just "brake, turn, hammer it" all the way around the track.
A lot of times, I will base tune my car using SS tires. You can get a better feel for where the car is deficient in handling (understeer, oversteer, etc.) Racing softs hides a lot handling issues.

Problem with lower PP limits, is that some cars become easier to beat than others.
