Also, for those interested, JLawrence and I are opening a garage called Vintage Tuning and my GT350R tune and his Cobra tune will be the debut tunes for our garage. Hopefully hey will get us noticed as a garage and as formal tuners.

I am willing to throw my hat in with my upcoming Challenger Street (550PP) and RM tunes along with my already documented Z/28 tunes.

Also, note, I just tired getting online and is said undergoing maintenance -.- It was working earlier fine....

The forums are all lit up with people having trouble logging in. Some are able to get in after several tries, I myself have not logged off all day, and am still currently online, so the server is up, just having some traffic issues or something

I've been on PSN all day and have no intentions of logging off until I go to bed later on tonight after our Trans-Am thing later on.

As for our PSN accounts, how many do you have? I got just one at my end.

Sure thanks so much, and how much power are you guys usually running?

Group One is perhaps 500-600 Hp, Group Two 500-770hm range. All Depends on car running.

Tonight's Results.

Next Sunday is Season One Finale Race. 20 Grueling Laps at Mazda Laguna Raceway. I highly suggest everyone get some practice in and make those tires last!

Also, Cobra Won our Special Prius on Dirt Race. Make sure to send him some sort of useless paint or horn!

We kinda decided on having only 3 laps to do it, afterwards I was thinking everyone would back out and find something else to do but everyone kept going so......

I hope I got all that right. PM me if I added your scores wrong. I am human just like everyone else.

I would like to congratulate Skeletor27 for clinching 1st place in G1 class in the '63 Corvette Z06 race car. *crowd goes wild*

I would also like to congratulate Kalmiya117 for clinching 1st place in G2 class in the '69 Camaro Z28. *crowd goes wild*
Skeletor27 & Titus001 clinched 2nd & 3rd respectively

Maybe I shouldn't have mentioned all that. Kinda makes the finale anti-climatic.

today morning I was changing my password , tonight I cant did it because for me was in mantenience,I miss the last race but Iam back again

Also, if you find yourself in an ill-handling car, and find it nearly impossible to keep it on the track, You probably don't have a chance at not taking last anyway. And best idea is to just pull over and park it. Having incursions with lapped traffic isn't good, and happening on the last lap, last turn is worst case scenario. Turned out in this case, wasn't a to big of a deal. The end results I don't think were affected. You will still get the 3 bonus points for finishing if you are present on the track when the race ends.

Maybe consider putting penalties on weak? This would ghost lapped cars. But it would also randomly ghost cars throughout the race. Put that one on the discussion agenda for next season. Doing 6 lap races, lapped traffic really isn't an issue, but if we want up the laps next season, it will be.

All in all, I though it was a great week. I had a blast. Great to be online racing again.
The Daytona speedway is a good wildcard track, anyone is capable winning. The G1 race was a little ridiculous. Since handling isn't a factor, we should limit the horse power just for that track.

....and let's hear it for Mudd's very first league victory! **crowd back to their feet**

Don't worry about the premature announcement, I really don't think you ruined any suprize there:)

The two guys that contributed all the work for the series win the the championships, I'm happy with that. I would also like to contribute, (and say thanks for the work), by donating the championship trophies. Each of our champions will receive a '1000 Ticket'. I believe when you redeem those a random car from the entire car list is awarded, so with any luck you'll both receive that highly sought after Fiat 500 that we all want. :sly:

FYI, I intentionally Creamed you on the last lap for shoots and googles. (group I)Hence Why I was laughing. I like penalties for the tracks there are shortcuts for, but when it comes to lapped cars, it is stated if you are lapped to give way to faster cars. In real world cars do not go through cars. I do know in group II Either I or Titus started sliding, and I tried to get away from everyone to avoid wreck, and it just didn't work.

Did an awesome job! I expect to see different names next season. I am expecting everyone to try and run different cars. I myself will be using the Challengers.

I am also going to say, thanks to everyone for doing the pace lap extremely well. I was expecting alot worse than what happened. I just wished I had saved that Race!

Also, from the Failed Group II race before PSN went down, Lag + Fun =

Thanks Mudd!
I ended up getting an Amuse GT1. Looks like I'll have to save up for the fiat 500.

Nice photo Kal. No wonder why your car always ends up with the most damage each race!

Everyone make sure you have dirt & snow tires for your favorite muscle car. The prius on dirt was fun & all, but.....

Yeah, well if the grounds keeper actually cut the grass every now and then, I wouldn't have to go cut it myself.

But actually with you guys I can't run relaxed, I have to push push push and fight for ever inch and sometimes, I make a mistake and all hells breaks loose. But I enjoy it alot.

Thanks Mudd!

Just watched a demo of their Carbon R on the Toscana road course. If I can give any advice for racing it, I'd not enter that car in any night races unless the track is well lit all around.:dopey:

Fair warning guys, I've been playing with the challenger RM quite a bit. And when I go back and try to beat the times in my Camaro. Having problems doing so. (am using the 640pp limit)

Ran a 1:21:519 @ Laguna bout 30 ish minutes ago online with ThisGuy.

Although, the 550pp limit Challenger still needs work.

I am also pretty sure, for next Season I will start a new tread with revised pp limits and car list. I am def believing the GT40 (69) will be added to group I and the trans cammer, art corvette, and cobra will be shifted to group II only.

Also starting to believe that at the end of each race a "Dirt" Muscle race will be run just for fun, with the winner receiving a Paint, Horn, or item from all who entered the race.

Also, I am thinking that Parade Laps (pace lap) will be done for every race besides the Daytona Speedway. And that Perhaps we can add one non US track to the lineup also to keep things interesting.

Also, Increasing Laps, which I believe should be voted on.

Cobramustang, I sent you a chassis reinforcement. No need to thank me.

Thanks for the warning Kal, I don't think anyone here thought your Challenger RM would be a push over. 1:21.5 is a very good time. On a good lap, I can manage a mid 1:21's in the Z06, low 1:21's on a great lap. This was done offline though. I think I'm going to stick with the Z06 for season 2. (fair warning to you). Haven't decided on a G2 car yet. Might help the Ford guys out.

+1 on the GT40.

+1 on the dirt muscle, (don't forget the snow too) I like the extra activities afterwords. I tried creating a dirt track with good jumps on it a while back with no success. I don't think it is possible, but if any of you can figure out how to make a good dirt or snow track with jumps, please do!

+1 on going international. A street course would add a nice variety (Tokyo or Madrid). This would also make the season a nice even 8 races (2 months).

+1 on more laps. I'm thinking at least a dozen, or 15? Maybe make a 1 pit stop manditory?

I'll second Tokyo, more laps too. I'm worried if we do more then about 12 laps we may have trouble getting more then one race a night. I also would like to keep Daytona Speedway in the line up (for obvious reasons) but think using an HP limit instead of PP will make that track much more equal for everyone. I've been talking with Kal about a prize list for season 2. Skeletor, I'm send you a pm with some details to get your feedback.

I like Madrid over Tokyo...

If we assume for this conversation, 2 minutes per lap (long track) 15 laps = 30 mins + 10 mins of qualifying = 40 mins per race x2 races = 80 mins or 1 hour 20 mins per night. I don't think this is unreasonable. We don't have to run 15 laps in each Class either.

What do you guys think about running sport tires in G2 class? Kinda like a "drive it to and from the track" type of cars. You guys in the GT350R's probably want to kill me for even bringing that up.

Well... I missed out on that race.... Any idea when the next shall be?

Next Sunday. Room opens in Kalmiya117's lounge @ 7pm E, 1st race starts @ 8pm E. Track will be Laguna

Wow, guys. The offline down time really wrecked me. I did a ton of offline practicing and some adjusting, now when practice in my lobby, each of my cars just feel horrible. I'm almost 4 seconds behind at Seca. Hope I can readjust by the weekend, hate to end the season with a bad showing.
What international courses could we do a night race on? That might be cool. Just a thought, havn't looked into it. Oh yea, since you put it that way Skel, 15 laps don't sound too bad. Kinda like the idea of slightly less laps with our G2, but I'm not a fan of running SS tires at 550pp, there's still quite a bit of horsepower there. I am up for a challenge though, if majority likes it.

That is the reason why I did not restrict tires on any class. even with a 550 pp limit some of the cars put out quite a bit of HP still. And instead of everyone racing each other, it would be a race of who wrecks less often.

Also going to point out that some of the street cars on the track at road atlanta, did not use sports tire but soft slicks when they raced fyi.
