I will again if you want? Sorry I missed the :47. The M3 seems to be very fast through the S bends. In a few races time do you want me to take the old M3 out to compare speeds?

sorry i have to work sometimes and missed the 02 for a few seconds...
good idea:)...to compare with the old M3 see you at 17?

@fairplay
looks like the m3 isn't easy to handle.
i had the same problems with the 599... too much oversteer!...for my taste.
but i think they're pretty much the same.

will be back with my precious yellow 430.:sly:

You're kidding, right?
The 599 understeers a lot more than it oversteers, and with the R3 tires fitted, you only let the rear loose if you want to, or you're using the accelerator as an on/off switch AND too early.

And they're not the same at all. Maybe in GT4 they would be, but on GT5P the're two very distinct drives.

you're right. my driving style is way too aggressive for the 599.
i prefer the on/off switch acceleration.:)
but i ment they're almost equally fast. the 599 is a bit stronger on the straits...

Over a lap at Suzuka, the 599 is faster than the M3 (almost 2 seconds).
On a race situation, the M3 can only keep up if it slipstreams, not quite a match for the 599, F430, NSX and the DB9.

Like I said, I wish the M3 had more horsepower, that way it'd be a perfect match. 👍

I could try and sort something out with the Lexus if you would be interested? Im sure that will have enough power to be able to keep up with the f430, DB9, NSX, 599 etc.

Anyone interested in driving this or not really?

i have more oversteering with the gear adjustment and same driving style.

i´ll try a nother last gear adjustment now, and then i´ll be back later this evening....
thanks everybody for your help:tup:

Mexz: Sorry for the hits the last 2 races. That race I couldnt really see what happened... Didnt see the car infront of you and you slammed on your brakes and couldnt aviod you.

Sorry man.

so much traffic out there...
funny to see how many different pp classes are racing at the same time.
edit: @jack no problem mate. i was thinkin' how i could get through the team2ch guys without punting them.
by the way 500pp races could be fun...

I joined the TEAM2ch guys the other night, was real good fun. 500PP and N1-N3 :)

@hyper: no problem , didn't feel a thing ;)

Good, no whiplash suffered. :sly:

Yeah they could be great fun. If I make a thread for it do you think we would get enough interest? We could swap between this and 500 for different night? Or do you think 500PP is to low and we will get in the way of other racers (lapped)

N1-N3... ok that explains how slow they were.
in the last race one of the team2ch joined us in a 599.
i had a good race with him:tup:until he went off the track...
i think his name was team2ch_599

but please on S1 at least.:sly:

edit: would love to drive a integra

Okay. Well if I get enough interest in this thread, I will create a new one for 500 - 550PP or something. So what do you think guys?

Sorry Prudent, if it was you who just had to drive into me on the finish line in suzuka...somebody was at the door and i had to go there, and when the bell ringed i did the stupiest (most stupid?) thing i could do and pushed the start-button....then i realized i can not steer anymore and pushed it again, but much too late to get out of the way.

Funnily enough, I've been thinking about the IS-F with its V8 power. But it's the gears that put me off, I think its a tad too many!

lol..... So your not including the car cause its got to many gears?

@patchysan ... always keep your tyres warm!👍:lol:

Lol, important indeed! :sly:

No I'm saying that as much I admire the IS-F I personally don't see myself driving it because it has 8 gears which is a handful for manual transmission. I didn't say i'm excluding it! I will include it in depending how much it's on par with the F430 and what other people think of it...which means we have to hand it over to our tame racing driver. Some say...

Yup. That's exactly it. Great match, right? 👍
You forgot the pp. Is that the 691?

You only use up to 6th.
It has loads of torque, and the gear changes are almost instantaneous, making it accelerate wonderfully.
Plus, it understeers, for those who have more trouble driving an oversteering car, but still fun to drive and very fast.
