As long as I can keep everyone else behind me in the corners then I have no problems winning the race.

i did nothing at all that goes against the spirit of the game at any point today. i did block him on the straights but he was behind at all times and i may not be the quikest driver but i am by no means slow. i tried to block rudi the exact same way but he had the skills to get past. my lap time's are usually 2.01 unless i get punted or stuck behind a slower car , when i do get stuck behind a slower car i don't take it out to overtake even if they are being defensive as i accept it as being part of

seems like on one else saw this, so to clear it up. Did you weave side to side while on the straight to prevent him passing?
 
I did a race tonight & its a punters festival, got knocked of track 6 times within 25 seconds.

i just used my mirror. if he moved left so did i, same on the right. at no point did i swearve erratically. no point to it, just slows me down. anyway i don't want this to put a dampner on what been a good day's racing even though i've only won a couple of them. this is the first time i've been in races with most of you and i really ejoyed it so thank's to all.
 
Sphinx...sorry for knocking you off man!!! My cars magentic force field kept pushing you off if I got within 10 feet of you under braking lol. Seriously though it must have had been some type of issue with lag because I was never even close to hitting you on both occassions. Oh well. Good racing though...that Vette is fast!

Everyone else, great racing! I'm definately having a lot of fun. Much cleaner racing on the whole in comparison to the :00 races with the LM's.
 
Crossing my fingers I don't get punted off at the start by the one punter in a pack of 6GTPer's...uggg :(.

Good racing D-K...we always manage to have a fun battle :P

Oh lol, what a disaster... thought race had ended, but it was lap 4, then bumpy poor old penty right before the line on the 'actual' 5th lap.... nightmare race sorry bud
 
ah i was working hard through the fild from 11th. On the final round in the esses - that ghost man i***** just messed everything up for all of us. Just when i had 1st position in range. arg....

I was wondering what happend to you maffski - thought u got to pee... lol..

What made it worse is my setup was all borked up, it was still at 749pp even though I set it up to 750 ages ago so I pulled over at the start to let everyone past. basically if it could go wrong... it went wrong. gotta love it.

my aplologize to P3nT4gR4m and to all the others if i was a little bit to aggressive, but my new R1 setup for the Vette is so fast in the slipstream, in acceleration and on the straight:scared:

I will take it little bit easier now:)

not really crime of the century, or dirty driving, but most people here might consider it unfair driving. We tend to race to rules which already exist in real life driving, one of them being that you can only move once on a straight to defend your position. If the other driver does make it past then you can pick up his slip stream and try to regain the place.

Those bloody gt's are quick... dustdriver and pent are really difficult to pass!

ps; just to knock back the stupid comments made in this thread... you are both fast and super clean mate.

pps; will be around once my boys have knocked over the Frenchies (YNWA)
