Hi everyone!

  • Do you play with a steering wheel? If so, what kind do you use? I play with a TGT2, mounted on a Playseat Evolution rig, with TLCM Pedals, TH8 Shifter, TSS Handbrake, and an additional USB Hanbrake. I also use the PSVR2 on GT7 :)

Hello!

I found gtplanet when I was searching on how I could get telemetry data from GT7 so I can look at my throttle and brake inputs the same way you do in iRacing. I found this legendary https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/gt7-is-compatible-with-motion-rig.410728 thread that led me to creating my own gt7 telemetry server https://github.com/Souldiv/gt7-telemetry-server which allows you to receive the decrypted data in real time for easy consumption! I play with a fanatec gt7 steering wheel and lately I have been obsessed with sim racing. Looking forward to interacting people on everything GT.

Cheers

-Hi, everyone, I've been into AC only since 2019 and would bump into gtplanet occasionally for some posts and hints into modding besides other forums like that, but my main web resources was racedepartment/overtake where I also posted some of my mods.
-I'm from Belgrade, Serbia.
-I've started with this long time ago with GPL, NASCAR2003, Gprix series, rFactor, LFS. In AC I've done some fiddling with cars mods physics here and there, I fell in love with AC replays and loved messing with TV cameras. But also I did some sound mods too for the vintage cars over these last cca two years. My AC cams/sounds mods page on overtake is: https://www.overtake.gg/downloads/authors/fff789.825278/
-I play with stock Logitech G27.
-Besides AC I tried also AMS1 and 2, rF2 a bit but stuck with AC since I have no more time and patience to mess with settling into more than one sim properly. I used to play some shooter games, RTS and RPGs but simracing is my main gaming now for some time.
-I hope to connect with more like minded simracers and communities sharing our experience and mods.

Cheers!

Welcome to the GTplanet club Felix. I'm Chris, maybe you can add me on your friends list later. I've never been to Serbia.

Hi. I am new here and since several years fan especially from the granturismo series. One year ago I startet creating liveries in GT Sport, then GT7 and I found a lot of points to improve in the livery editor and as implementation IMO would not be a big deal i was wondering if they (Polyphony) get feedback from community. So I was searching for a forum and here I am :P

After buying a vr2 end of last year I don't feel able any more to go to another racing game which does not support this ://

I've been playing Gran Turismo since the first version in 1997 and i'm always a big fan of this game.
I love racing games with a few other genres like FPS, RPG's, adventure and so many others.
I found Gtplanet by searching tutorial videos for PCSX2.
Thx for this so interesting Forum! :)

Hi All

Long time lurker here, thought it was about time I said hello! Been lurking so long I have no idea how I came across GTP, must've been via google I expect.

Live in Sittingbourne, Kent, England, and there really can't be too many GT7 players around my area as I've finished first in Kent in the manufacturer's cup twice, and in the last series I only entered one event (love Gr4 around Road Atlanta, so as you can imagine I'm licking my lips for this week). I am distinctly mid/lower DrB or high C, depending on the week! Have aspirations of getting to A but I will need to improve quite a lot to manage that. I notice this most when going from a good week (such as Brands Hatch Indy in Gr4, where I won 4 races thanks to the odd Genesis tune I picked up on here) to a more difficult week (Daytona road course in Gr3 for example).

I bought a PS1 to play Gran Turismo, spent a very long time indeed playing that (can still remember the many, many hours spent getting my International A licence!:banghead:) and then weirdly didn't play GT2-6, but did play sport a bit on PS4. Don't really know why I missed so many editions, although having kids may have had something to do with it!! Prior to GT I had played most of the driving games available on any platform I had, all the way back to Acorn Electron in the 80s (yes, I am old-ish)! In those days it was seen as a breakthrough when a racing game had corners!. been playing GT7 for almost exactly one year, and in that time I've clocked up 787 hours... a little over 33 full days ...I may have a problem

Equipment-wise I had a wheel on the N64, and on PC (Microsoft Sidewinder was my first taste of FFB) and earlier this year I picked up a complete Next Level Racing rig second hand off ebay, with fanatec DD pro wheel base, Formula 2.5 wheel and CSL pedals with load cell brake. I got a VR2 in January as well. Since then my play time has gone through the roof. Playing in VR is incredible, just the best thing I've done in a game, ever. It's completely addictive, as is playing in sport mode, however much it winds me up sometimes.
As to what other games I enjoy...at the moment, none! but am thinking that when GTA6 finally comes out I may have to split my gaming time as I've been waiting for that for years. A little balance possibly wouldn't be a bad thing. Not this week though, enjoyed the first races at Road Atlanta and Deep Forest. Seem to be getting to grips with group 3 a bit better lately.

My in-game name is the same as here. Hope to see some of you in a lobby sometime.

Welcome man, my first ever Gran Turismo game was gt3 in 2001. I skipped the first two on the original ps1 console. I'm Chris btw if you want to know my name.
