5% is the max. You cannot accrue any more. You have to finish outside the top 5 in order to lose ballast. So a driver who finishes 6th, for example, they will have 1% point of ballast removed for the next race.

I beleive you were maxed last race and @fastone was at 3%. He won and you placed 2nd. You don't get any more ballast, because you were maxed, but now he is at the full 5%.

Should be interesting.

Just a reminder guys...

We are going to be using the new GT Sport Qualifier System. When qualifying is done it will dump us straight into the race.

Be prepared!
 
Practice until 11am! Tire wear and fuel consumption are on for practice. This is to help drivers get a feel.

Qualifying is at 11am! Tire wear and fuel will be off. Pump out your best lap! You will have 20 minutes!

Good luck to all because the game goes straight to the race after qualifying!

Wow!

Fantastic race guys! I was working hard throughout the race. I will be posting up the results and updating g everything as soon as possible.

There was some argey bargey towards the end but None of it affected the outcome.

I want to thank You guys for racing today. :cheers::gtpflag:
 
The Points have been updated with the exception of Fastest Lap from the race we just had at Monza. I just need to confirm that in the race replay which I was able to save and share right after the race.

The Ballast Tracker has also been updated. However, I do not know what the two Hondas will weigh until I get back on the game and add the required ballast points. It looks like Jeeves and I are the only ones that picked up some extra Ballast. Jeeves is now maxed out with Ballast and I am up to a total of 111%.

It will be interesting to see what that does to the cars in the upcoming races.

Today's race was incredible. I had a chance to watch the replay and do some voice over Broadcast style but my mic was too low and I'm barely audible. Perhaps I will give it another try soon.

There was some argey bargey between a couple of drivers late in the race today but nothing that looked too serious and I can confirm that the little bit of contact back and forth did not affect the outcome of the race. The only thing I saw of concern was a re-entry onto the race track that looked a tad bit unsafe. Again, it did not affect the outcome of the race but was sure to cause the dropping of the "Red Mist" on the opposing driver.

Lets keep it cool out there. Mistakes will be made but deliberate stuff is highly discouraged.

The points have tightened up even more with @SDM_Viper @fastone371 and I all within 4 points. @Jeeves_ACBC is 13 points off of the lead but he is lurking and, judging by his pace today, looks likely to make a serious run at the championship but I believe he needs to win the rest of the races. Will he get it done?

@Clean Racer, What happened to you in the race at the last lap of last corner, were you not out of fuel when I passed?
I just passed you then I promptly ran out of fuel.
I'm an idiot,,I drove the the first stint short shifting to save fuel. When I pitted I think there were 14 laps to go, as I was being fueled I noticed that I wouldnt need a full tank so I stopped at (I bet you can see where this is going) 15.9 laps of fuel, an extra 1.9 laps in the bank, I'm golden!! As I am going down pit lane I suddenly remember I was saving fuel so my fuel mileage was unusually high, now I must run the rest of the race saving fuel or stop a 2nd time. I may have been able to finish 2nd if I wasnt an idiot. :dunce::dunce::dunce: To top it off I somehow got loose in the 2nd chicane while doing math calculations in my head and put it in the kitty little giving up 11 seconds to @Clean Racer. On the the last lap I had 1.4 laps fuel remaining, I thought I actually had enough to run fast and get to 3rd, just as I take 3rd I run out of fuel and @Clean Racer passes me for 3rd. Fun day:banghead::banghead::banghead:

From now on I am going to take on 2 extra laps worth.

I just don't understand why my car passed yours when we both were out of fuel. ???

That is exactly what I was wondering too??
I guessed you had just ran out because suddenly I gained on you so fast then soon as I passed I ran out and I figured I would finish 3rd because the next car was a lap down then all of sudden you drove by me.
I think I will have to protest the results:lol::lol:

Not only that but I used 1.4 laps of fuel shifting at redline vs short shifting?? I know that short shifting gains me about 1.5-2 laps over that first stint so 1.4 laps should have easily lasted that last lap. Something is a little off.
 
Sorry guys (hey @Alan_2134) I couldn't make it to the race last Saturday. I may not be able to join you for the next Saturday race either. I'll keep you posted.

The more you do it, the more natural you will become...the structure of your broadcast was solid and it held my attention. I would like to see the telemetry of each car and the tire wear and fuel readings as the race unfolds. I really liked the changing POV from the different cars...👍

Your audio was fine (listening on headphones) and I loved how the different cars sounded...👍👍
