Is This The Top Gear Test Track?

Yes, but we aready know Clarkson's point of view on sim racing. Once a person beats the Stig, the board would come down, and Clarkson would have a witty remark.

I'd also love to see an episode where Kaz is the Star In A Reasonably Priced Car. I'm sure he would do very well. 👍

But then he has to take Easily Distracted Translator with him

Just wondering, that clip of the video was at dusk. Could this be taken as day/night cycles?

There's always ghosting if used as a racetrack. Or, damage.:mischievous:

Loving the lights regardless.
I prefer the idea of damage. Infact, they should use that idea to implement a new racing mode could "sucicide racing mode". See how many times you can cross the crossing before "SMASH"!

I'm sure he would, but I can't imagine clarkson interviewing him and his translator. :P

Yeah, that would be challenging, but I would hope that the writers could work it in somehow to make the translation aspect actually funny...turn a challenging situation into a great one that works. Not sure how though. Maybe the easily distracted translator (above) would work well there. :)

This could definitely be fun; if it is indeed the TG track :D
As for the green lights; they actually seem to be guide-lines; (like "brake-dumbass!" lines). In other photos of this particular piece it would seem that they're hovering over the track.

Would be fine - They could just edit it up so that Kaz had subtitles...

The Translator would say it out loud for the audience...

Although it really is about time that KY learnt English!

No, they are normal runway lights. And the cars weren't 'hovering', it was an optical illusion.

Oh, and I too would love to see Kaz (With his 'easily distracted translator ) on Top Gear :D

So i'll be able to stick the DB9 in 4th gear and go all the way to 170mph in one gear?! Woo!

Anyway, i'm gonna be a bit of a pessimist and say that just because we may see day/night videos of tracks, it doesnt mean the time of day will be choosable, the same goes for weather. I'll never forget my disapointment of finding that the only way to race in the wet in GT4 was Tsukuba wet.

What i'm saying is, if we see night/day/rain/sun/snow on videos or screenshots, they could be of tracks that are FIXED in that setting. Let's not get our hopes up.

One question. What difference does it make whether this is or not the Top Gear Test Track? We know it's going to be in the game, after all. This seems kind of pointless.

I'm sure i just said it in public ;)

I would also argue that there are MUCH more pointless threads on this forum at the moment.
