My brothers CLK55 AMG is in the game, but diffrent wheels and its STANDARD CAR :(

I will try to take some pictures of his car and try to match same angles in game.

First post here.

Lost my digital camera on a trip a couple of weeks ago, so no nice pictures of my car, but took a quick cell phone pic of my 2005 RX-8 6MT. Also pictured is my winter beater 02 Lancer (non-Evo). Sorry for the poor quality/location (my garage lol)

I just need to fly to Spain to take a picture like this...

GT5 nailed the RX-8's driving characteristics really well IMO.

Hey PD, where's my VW Routan?!? Or my Passat Wagon?!? I'll take on an X1 any day of the week in my minivan! Why aren't there any minivans in these games? Ever?

Uhm.. Kinda..

I have a '98 Hyundai Tiburon 2.0L

They have the '99 version with the ugly 4-Celica-Wannabe-Headlight conversion.

Seem to have lost the Pic on my Work PC.. LOL

Will post it tommorow..

Nope..

Well, they have the '99 Hyundai Tiburon Turbulence.. Or something like that.

It has the Celica wannabe-4-headlights.. Doesn't look that nice.

I have the '98 Version.. Exact same car.. Just without the "Face Lift"..

Here's a pic of mine.. Dead standard.. Except for a small T2 Hybrid Bolt-On and a set of 17" Racing Hart Conoseurs..

I'm puzzled by some of the cars they included...and some they left out. Why not include the two fastest FWD cars at the RING? (08 and newer Chevy Cobalt SS Turbo and Renault Mégane RS R26.R) They achieved thier times on standard tires...the next closest FWD times (SLOWER) were on "Sport" tires! (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI
Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VII) The top tow cars even bested the vaunted Ford Focus RS, Audi TTS Coupe, Porsche Boxter, Porsche 911 Carrera (993),Nissan 350Z, etc... You get the point...they're fast cars on the race track.

I'd guess it's probably because they didn't want something other than a Japanese car to be the best FWD car. (I also have to add that they both beat the NSX, S2000 and Mazdaspeed 3 by over 10 seconds!)

Cant help but to notice your putting "Evo's" under FWD cars?.. Evolutions are all wheel drive turbo's, far from front wheel drive.. (I'm an Evo owner)..

Why Yes mine is. It's a 95 Camaro Z28, However same engine just different interior and tail lights.

Wow nice Biggamehit!! Is that a GTS-T? Turbo rear wheel drive? Nice!

And you too Scott!

Need to do that with my 370

I like this thread, lots of nice cars!

Not so impressive compared to some other cars in this thread but my ride is also in the game.
TOYOTA CELICA!!!!

And some photo's of me driving on the famous ring :sly:
Can't drive it as fast in real life compared to the game. Also I need better brakes.

Wow Gents (and ladies?)! Some sweet wheels in here.

The surely sweetest wheels I own are present, and that spot on, exact model, exact year, exact color Monza Red even. They (PD) just got some details wrong, e.g. some badging and the headlights. The evo has smaller halogen headlamps, same size as the beams to increase airflow for the intercooler and general engine bay ventilation. I've moaned about this in the prologue thread "WRS and their rides" already, but they didn't listen  Here the pics, first of the whole car, the other to "demonstrate" the headlamps issue...

Then there's my Landie (the only real Landie if you ask me :D). Not in the game as I was hoping, but at least there's a Landie at all. I had a ride in one of those Rangie Sports with a buddy from the Landie club once, man, these things are biests (if useless offroad, though). One day when theres nothing better to do in GT5 I'll make sure I take it for a spin, on the road.

And then my current project, the Datsun 1800J SSS. This exact car is also not in the game, but closely resembled by the 510. As the description says the 510s were very successful in rallying at the time, and the same applies to my model. I'm still guttered I didn't grab it when it was available in the used car garage right when I had the game fresh... no cash and thinking "ah, it'll stick around".... well, havn't seen one since, bet you know the feeling :banghead::lol:

@Scott that is sick brother. I tried to set my pictures up sorta that way lol. Also whats the name of that track???

@Ren sweet ride. older cars are so much better in my opinion.

@Joe yes sir its a GTS25-T with a custom Holset Turbo upgrade. I tuned it to 433chp 383whp right before going on this deployment. Going to break into 500whp land and then call it a day.

@Zoid What was your time?? I am hoping to get stationed in Germany after Japan. I will frequent the ring.
