Really? Who? Very interested who this could be!

It's nobody new to the series, let's just say I think he'll have more luck this season :sly: Although I am looking into a new addition to the series for our third driver...

EDIT: I'm resisting the urge to call one of our new sunset races 'The Afternoon Delight 200' after the song Will Ferrell recorded for Anchorman

Shouldn't you be driving for Target Chip Ganassi? Chip's going to be pissed that you are moonlighting in a Penske car.

Still in a Chevy if that helps at all.

Plus, Team Penske have a Constructors Title to defend.

I'm quite unsure what to do with teams.

We either do 3 man teams with limited colours or 2 man teams with a wider range. Leaning towards the former with two drivers picking up team points.

We need more than 9 people if we're doing 3 man teams

Is Matty the secret driver?!

Bravo! He got it!

And I do anticipate more guys this season. I think Brett was joking about signing up but if he isn't we'll have to rope someone else in

Me. Smuffy. KV Racing.

Well so far it's...

KV - Smuffy/Cowboys
Penske - Joe/Knelly
Target - Tom/Matty

For sure. We also might get...

-Akmuq was interested and said he'd see how his schedule pans out.
-Drop might join us for some oval races.
-Mudd said he was going to sign up this time around.
-MStall and Rich may return schedule permitting.
-Tom (other Tom) said he'd sign up, may be abit late for him.
-Anarchy may return this season.
-Mule and I have set aside our differences, he may join us again, we'll see.
-The guy called Karl wanted to sign up.

Not to mention any new guys we pick up 👍

The best way to pick up potentially interested drivers is to hold a long open lobby practice in your normal time slot in the weeks leading up to the start of your regular season, or long open practices the hour or two before your scheduled race start. A lot of the drivers we have now in Sprint Cup stumbled upon us on accident in GT5 public lobbies in season one.

Good idea, may try this in a couple of weeks time. Joe, Knelly and I are testing for the new season (new tracks etc.) this Friday and I'm away in Madrid next Friday but the week after that I'll probably host an Indy room.

EDIT: Or not, I'm away that Friday night as well...

Yeah, while we do our testing it makes sense to put them in Open Lobby rather than private room. Title it something like Indycar with FGT's. Never know who we might find 👍

I'm definitely interested in the next season. Summer coming up and having two young kids may have an effect on my attendance, but I want to give it a shot anyways. These cars are a very different animal to tame, I really enjoy the challenge.

Wait till you take them on street circuits man, brings a new meaning to learning your car.

But, when you hook them up, and as some of the replays show with the packs, these cars are actually awesome to race.

Just make sure you work within the limits of the car at tracks where it really matters such as Tokyo, where I think everyone got damage from hitting a wall/barrier at some point.

I'm up for next series if you move the time slot back to fit 8pm cdt. (Third IndyCar Series in a row now, I've been trying to get into.......)

Never gonna happen I'm afraid, this is as late as I can go, Saturdays are full of NASCAR and I can't race Sundays.

Ok well maybe one day out of the blue I could make it, are any of you guys opposed to me dropping in to race with you unannounced? Or are you not accepting privateers lol?
