Knelly has been awarded the win due to the fact I made a mistake coming out of T4 and wrecked him. 2nd and 3rd to be determined.

BS. I have photo evidence that shows I was in first when the red car came down on me, forced me into the grass and turns me into the wall.

I came here expecting clean racing, not a host who wrecks people. Just wow.

I had a blast, guys. A bit of a learning experience, it's very difficult to push your own car around that track without pushing anyone else. I'm very pleased with my performance in my 'rookie' start. I was involved in a couple accidents, though I do not believe any of them were caused by myself. I do apologize to Akmuq for some contact around lap 80, several cars checked up suddenly and I think he may have received engine damage off of me, but there was nothing I could have done to prevent the contact. I'll keep watch for a follow-up season. Thanks!

I was nowhere near you, I hit Knelly and span into you as a result of me and Knelly coming together. If I was 'forcing' anyone anywhere, it was Knelly towards the wall.

I personally don’t see what all the fuss is about. It was driver error and Tom has admitted it. Tom was fighting for championship points as you were here for a one off race for fun as with a lot of other guys. It’s not as if it ruined your chance of say, gaining a position in the championship.

It might look as if I’m taking sides but this is my judgement from what I’ve seen and heard. In my opinion this is a useless argument and we should all put this behind us and concentrate on the new season, and or other series

Also, congrats to Matty on his first pole. Shame you ran out of gas as your car was fast and had a shot of winning

I tried to box Knelly in, driver error (unintentional) lead me to hitting him. My immediate reaction to hitting Knelly was to turn left away from him which caused me to spin, what else could I have done?

I hadn't any shot of a win since cause of some weird bug I couldn't gain any speed from the draft.. So technically I ran solo all race..

EDIT: Just seen MULE's video, it looks to me as if Tom was just getting hit like a pinball from side to side and really couldn't keep it straight as he kept steering away from crashes, but unfortunately only into more..

This would have been my very first win in a GTP race ever, and just like that, I get screwed over and have it taken away from me. Championship or not, I don't see how that's fair.

On my replay, after the initial contact with Knelly, Tom's car got loose from this and the loose condition made him begin sliding quickly/zigzagging into both cars again and again, which ultimately caused the wreck. If there had been no contact between any of the 3 cars at all, knelly would have won the race. The contact between Knelly and Tom before Tom's car started zigzagging slowed them both down and allowed Mule to pull marginally ahead as the wreck then began.

EDIT: "Pinballing" is the term I was after.

Oh, anyway I’m off to sleep. Big thanks to Tom for hosting this and to all that raced. The field was close and each person had their ups, downs, good days and bad days.

OK first thing, whatever happened I'm convinced I still would have won. Mule only slightly passed us both (maybe - not sure), after you had taken me off my line increasing steering input when I shouldn't have been using it, losing me speed.

I also believe if you didn't move up on me then Mule wouldn't have had the room to legally pass you below.

Therefore, I belive Knelly 1st, Tom 2nd, Mule 3rd.

Knelly's PM to me used with permission. This is a concrete explanation of what would have happened, there's really no arguing with it.

Point out to me in the OLR where it says that you cannot shift lanes on an oval please.

Knelly would have had the speed to continue on and win the race regardless.
