The site I read estimated it to be around 50,000GBP which is around $80,000, I think.
What gets me though is that this car was touted as Jaguar's affordable, entry level car. But, if it's going to start at $80,000 though, it might as well just be the new XK as you can pick one of them up for $85,000. It almost looks like Jaguar would be pulling an Acura move.
http://www.motorauthority.com/news/1075589_jaguar-confirms-engine-for-2014-f-typeJaguar confirmed the F-Type will feature a supercharged 3.0-liter V-6 engine.
Both engines will be paired with a ZF eight-speed automatic transmissions and the V-6 will also benefit from engine stop-start technology.
Starting with the supercharged 3.0-liter V-6, Jaguar says the engine is based on a similar design used for its existing supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 and that it will come in two different states of tune: 340 and 380 horsepower. The 380-horsepower version will be reserved for the F-Type sports car. Key features of the design are direct injection technology, variable valve timing and aluminum construction.
Thanks beeble I need a change of pants.
If it's a F-Type , why does it say S on the front picture ? :S
