The only reasonable response after seeing that rear.

550hp Supercharged 5.0L V8 from the XKR-S. I'm assuming that 0-60 time is very conservative.
4 sounds about right actually. The XKR-S does it in 4.2 or so. I don't think the F-Type is light enough that it'd shave too much more off that figure.

The R-S really struggles to put that power down over the first few yards too. I don't doubt both would be quicker if you could hook them up properly.

This car looks just as amazing as the concept. Knowing what I'm looking at is a production car makes it that much more special.

I don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but I just went to build an F-Type coupe and found it to be £8,000 cheaper than the convertible. Eight grand!

They have pricing up in the UK? As of right now, the US configurator doesn't have that information...

I would take it over the convertible in a heart beat. Without the glass roof, unless it was a dark color... I wouldn't look good in a convertible at all.

It's really great to see the level of excitement for this car, believe me, it looks good in the flesh.

Base price for the V6 and V6S is just over £7k cheaper, yes - which given that the overriding criticism of the F-Type was that it's £10k too expensive is a pretty good start.

The R Coupe is more expensive than the V8S Convertible though.

drop dead beautiful, the coupe. I don't like the convertible that much honestly.. im just not much into convertibles.

but more beautiful than an Aston? no not a chance for me lol

I'm sure it would change if I drove it but I'm getting bored of the F-Type now :(

I kept seeing loads of convertibles and coupe prototypes before the car came out , and I love the noise of the V6.

It's just been publicised so damn much I've become bored of it, I think my imaginary £80k would go on a 991 Carrera S again now.

The only Porsche I would ever consider buying would be a first generation Cayman. Nothing else they build interests me in the slightest. I would take the F-Type over a 911 any day.

Spotted one of these at a local car meet/fundraiser and took some pictures.

Like the C7 Vette, the front is fantastic, but the rear is a real let down to me.

@Pagey279

I just designed one on the website....£95,000. And worth every penny, the coupé is the car of my dreams.
Have you mentioned this in this thread?

Going to edit this post instead of making a new one.

Just configured an F-type as I would like to have it. It's €72,820. That's about the same as a Porsche Cayman S (probably with a few options). Which one is my favourite. Well in this case, probably the Jaaaaagggg. Athough I like the Cayman S as well and Porsche is German, German technology, etc... .

My ideal F-Type is around £72,000. I love the coupe and the V6 S. For some reason, I'm not interested in the V8.
