Come to think of it, maybe this is why all three versions of the Jaguar VGT are EVs. Especially the SV, which I think should've been a hybrid so it could be eligible for Gr.1.

There is nothing of the new brand identity in those cars and the designs are 6 years old by now - I don't think Jaguar themselves knew they wanted to rebrand at that point.

It's more likely that they were made electric because they wanted to promote the I-Pace.

Which is weird considering not only is the car not in the game, but I'm not sure it was all that much of a sales success. I think they also leaned towards their Formula E team considering they had a full scale mockup right next to their car.

But yeah, the Vision GT designs were definitely far before management decided to be even MORE misguided then they already were.
