The poor KPGC110 makes it even more obvious that we need the ability to alter the front and rear tracks. :(

My S54-powered one, fully lowered, looks ace in profile. The wheels are way too far in to look good from any other angle.

Yes! If T10 added adjustable track width and fender flares (even thin, generic, exposed-fastener ones like the ones on the KPGC110) to a large percentage of the non-racecars (and better-integrated car specific flares on some cars), they'd have filled all the glaring holes in the customization aspect of the games (other than being able to place decals on the windows, of course), IMHO.

Decent pack this month. Not stellar but can't be always. Too Japanese-heavy. Hate to say it but none of the Japanese cars do anything for me. Kenmeri? Not interested. Mazda Formula? Likewise? Motul GT-R? Meh. Toyota TS040 Hybrid? Decent. The saving graces are the Hypersport, the cute Kadett GT/E and the classic Holden Monaro, with the Lykan and Opel being stand outs in my opinionen.

Even though I don't own an Xbox One I am always interested in Forza DLC as it is plentiful and usually pretty good. I noticed the Toyota TS040-HYBRID does not have the correct wheels. The real car uses very distinctive flat-spoke wheels while the game has the wheels the car was unveiled with but never competes with. PCars has the correct design.

Also, since I am addicted to Toyota LMPs I scoured YouTube for videos and the sound sample really isn't great. Again, PCars does it better. FM6 also has the wrong power figure at 784bhp instead of 986bhp.

It is good to see it in more games and it is coming to Assetto Corse too. Hopefully GT Sport nabs the rights too.

I have to say all of the cars in this pack seem overwhelmingly good to drive.

I expected the Lykan to be like the Hennessey Venom; a lot of brutal acceleration and speed, but not backed up with any downforce or grip. I was surprised that it is relatively planted through corners, even though there is a bit of under steer. The brakes are the only real big issue - even then, you get used to them quick.

The Formula Mazda is a joy. When the Formula Ford was added back in Forza 5, I expected it to stick to the road like nothing else, which it sadly never did. The Mazda does though, and you get the rotary soundtrack alongside, it's great.

The Opel is sprightly. Feels sort of similar to the Escort RS1800 (hardly surprising, given they're from the same period and were rivals), but the short ratio box in the Kadett makes it fun to blast around shorter courses.

Didn't spend much time in the Kenmeri, but it feels relatively similar to the KPGC10, which isn't a bad thing. Desperately needs wider tyres though.

Both the GT500 GT-R and the TS040 are by far the grippiest race cars I've driven in the game. Both of them feel exactly like what I'd imagine cars from their class to drive like (even though I suspect most LMP and GT3 style cars are actually as sensitive as they are in the game). The TS040's fuel consumption seems a bit too excessive though. :P

The Holden feels like the traditional muscle car fare. Not bad of course, but kind of eh. The only real plus points for me are that the steering wheel is on a different side - rare in a car of this type - and that totally rad pink and purple.

Great pack overall. 👍

With the other game we were lucky if we got two or three cars in a very long timespan. Cars that were pretty much useless, douplicates and/or incomplete. Forza 6 gives us full packs every other months or so 👍

Oh my gods, T10! I can't even keep up with you guys! I still have to buy the Fast and the Furious pack and here it is, another pack coming out. I just love this game so much!

My wallet is waiting :)

Funny how the 510 can get real low and have wider tyres.

Why no more free cars? I refuse to buy the season pass until I know what every DLC contains.

Well then, you've got two more months to wait before deciding.

No idea what's up with the lack of free cars. Not that we're owed them, but yeah, it is strange how that just sort of stopped after the weird Silvia situation. Hopefully we hear soon.

I see some people saying that the gtr gt500 is not even close to the real one in terms of performance.

In what sense? It's significantly faster than the GT3 machines, which is expected. It feels like it has a lot more downforce than those cars.

Ok, not bad.. Not bad at all, I wouldn't say it's my favourite of the packs but it's acceptable none the less.

Great to see the Lyken finally in Forza, Had a brief drive of it in Project Cars but I look forward to trying it out here.

Another Holden. You Aussies are being spoilt :P, That's the last 3 Car packs that had one.

The Formula Mazda looks kinda cute, look forward to giving that ago.

I look forward to seeing the Opel Kadett.. Why didn't it get shown in the Trailer?

Either way, 7 more vehichles to add to my list for my series I am doing :)

Yes I feel very lucky with the amount of Aussie cars to go, only a few left to add. So don't worry. :)

Aside from the Silvia being gone from the "stories of motorsport" section, I would like to know what else changed in the update. Eh, I guess I'll check the website.

I haven't seen any time comparisons for the unrestricted versions in Forza vs real life yet. I don't set leaderboard times, but I've races a ton of cars on different tracks in Forza. I just set my best time in R class on the Swiss alps with it. It's a beast to me and it sticks to the track like glue. :)

Forza doesn't simulate the KERS for any of the LM cars and for some reason the developers just decided to stick the hp figures in the 700s.

My bad, maybe I was misleading by this post. The guy is a little excessive...
http://forums.forzamotorsport.net/turn10_postst53752_Forza-Marketing-and-Reality.aspx

For example the the nismo GTR GT500 from the autobacks super gt series

That car have in forza a handling level of 7, 3 like gt3 cars.....every driver who drive such cars says that this cars have downforce level of lmp2 cars. PI of 863 in comparsion with reality is laughable. The cars runs in gt500 class which is extrem faster than the gt3 cars that run in gt300 class. The gt500 cars with dtm regulations are much faster than the old gt500 till 2013. I can't take this serious........

After some test laps in hockenheim I think this car is minimum 5 seconds too slow and have nothing to do with a GT500 Car in 2014. A dtm car in 2014 needs 1:32 min for a lap in hockenheim. 1:32 min ........ I need 1:40 with the car but then I have tuned it to R898. Without tuning I need 2 seconds more maybe. So then I'm 10 seconds as an average player away from the laptimes of a dtm car.

Not super excited for this pack. I could honestly pass on all of them, though the Skyline and the Holden seem cool. I don't personally like the GT500 class as I find them a bit difficult to control. I enjoy the challenge of racing the LMP cars, especially in cockpit view, but don't care enough about WEC to really warrant the extra car. All that said, I'll probably still buy the pack because fxck it, I like T10 and want to support them.

I'd also like to jump on the bandwagon and say I also hope that all these classic Japanese cars are hints towards Horizon 3 being in set in "Japan."

First problem would be relying on some random Joe on the internet trying to compare lap times from real life to a game. There are too many factors to consider, so the accuracy is going to be lost

The next would be relying on some random Joe on the internet, not knowing his skill level. Still, the first point explains it all.

Raceboy77 has already got some pretty good tunes out for the DLC. He has an R class tune for the Lykan that I find makes a lot easier to drive if any one needs one.

Let's go a different route this month and start with what has become the habitual appointment with the corners of Mount Panorama. Turn 10 is really making the long wait of Aussie fans worthwhile with the third historic Holden in a row. The Monaro, however, is a different beast from the Commodore VL or the Torana - it's a large muscle car who is far happier doing burnouts than cornering. I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to shoehorn an even bigger powerplant in the cavernous engine bay either!

Not much to say about the Kadett. As expected, it's fun, fun, fun. The fuel-injected straight-4 propels this tin can at speeds that are hardly believable, but its grunt is well-matched by relatively well-tuned suspension and what I believe may be the optional limited slip differential. You should definitely get this if you want your Escort RS to be built by ze Germans.

The addition of the Toyota 2000GT and Mazda Cosmo Sport in Horizon 2, and of the CSP311 Silvia last month already sent me on a long trip down memory lane. The Kenmeri... Ah, the time I've spent hunting this car in Gran Turismo 4's Used Car Dealer, hoping it would provide me the edge I needed in the 70s Japanese Cars events! I'm glad to see that my driving technique has improved at least as much as the level of detail of the cars 3d models since then. Thin tires and the right amount of power provide for a very engaging, very rewarding drive experience that requires finesse and good reflexes, and should be a good workout for wheel users.

It is rare that I fall in love so madly with a modern hypercar, but the Lykan is the one for me. Its lines may be all angles and air intakes, yet they somehow manage to be graceful. What isn't graceful is the brutal twin-turbo flat-6 that, mounted midships, provides inordinate amounts of power and torque. The Hypersport may not win any public lobbies races, but it's as fun as it looks.

Is it weird that this ended up being my favorite car of the pack? The Formula Mazda is absolutely addictive. It doesn't matter how fast you're driving, it always wants more, there's always that 1% to gain. I just wanted to hear the sound of the rotary engine at Lime Rock, I ended up doing 25 laps and climbing the leaderboards to an inch of the top-1000. Did someone say spec racing?

On the other hand, the GT500 GT-R is a bit... Underwhelming. May be that I tried it on the wrong track - Monza is a circuit that's best enjoyed on a car that's a second away from disaster, and they stopped making these a long time ago. May be that the sound is wrong - I disagree with those that say it sounds like an inline-6, but it doesn't sound like an high-revving inline-4 either. Or it may just be that there's far too much aerodynamic grip for the car to prove challenging on a solo run. After all, Super GT qualifying's always been boring.

Finally there's the TS040. And as an Audi fan it pains me to say this is probably the most enjoyable Le Mans Prototype in the game - yes, even more fun than the older LMPs such as the Ferrari SP and the Bentley Speed 8. The car has mental acceleration and virtually infinite grip, and its sound is like that of a snarling beast - something we all thought lost when the diesel era was in full swing. Bonus points because of the dashing livery that's probably visible from space.

The Pack is very good. The GT500 GTR will get a spin at the ring tomorrow I think :)
After going back to it I still have to say that Forza 6 has the best lineup of all racing games. The amount of real world race cars is outstanding. The Hypercars are only outdone by Driveclub I think. With Forza 6 we have 2 more packs I believe and the Porsche Pack which will most likely be its own 20$€ pack with maybe 50% off for VIP Members as it was with Storm Island for Horizon 2. I

Once again mate. Great write up and review of the pack.
