Yay! 2/3! :D And finally! The RKM NSX is getting the full 450hp! The day has arrived for the ultimate RKM NSX! WOOO!!

Ehhh...R34 GTR?

Full 450bhp pushes it far beyond 550PP unless I take off the wing, which in an NSX is a bit foolish. The Evo R is actually at 552PP as it stands, so I'm just going to knock a bit of downforce off to bring it down to 550 and work from there. It needs a redo anyway.

Maybe. Either that or an Impreza I think.

Well, maybe, but Suzuka and Tsukuba are all relatively flat tracks, so shouldn't the current settings work for it there?

Bread Van II on steroids? :dopey:

Tuner/Tester list has been updated take a look incase i missed you.

but it looks so nice with its stock wing and not some ugly gt wing :yuck:

Also if anyone here has an ebony mica pant chip(the one that looks purple ish) can I please have it or swap for it? need all three rides colour co-ordinated

well i have a regular ebony and ebony black paint chip but no ebony mica still want one?

Sounds like the beginning of another great shootout.👍
I like that you have three different tuning classes. Put me down as a tuna for 490pp and 520pp! :dopey:

i hate gt wings in general... they need to just add a stock wing in the gt auto that adds the downforce ability... would make me so much happier dont want to **** up the looks of cars

Just to let you know , i'll be testing 490PP bracket to start with .

might be testing more brackets but i'll have to take a peak into that first :D

if thats ok for you ofc :P

thats fine just give me an update if you choose to do more then one tier

I will be testing the 520 range since no one wants to give those tuners love XD

Oi, good time to pull out that 550PP Supra of yours, retuned this time as something of a "what if I was allowed to do it as a nose up tune?", because you said very clearly there that you didn't want to do a nose up one, hence the cement up its arse. :P
Haha, you sure know how to tempt me, Onboy! The thing is, I like to tune for speed AND feel. So since this comp is a hot lap shootout (ie no points for driver feel), I'm just gonna sit on the judging side of the fence this time.

I'd love to participate but I'll be away from my PS3 again for the next two weeks, I wish my PS3 was smaller so I could just bring it with me when I go on a business trip!

This is why I love the slim PS2. It's only slightly bigger than a DVD case so carrying it in your briefcase or backpack is easy. Only issue is finding a TV that still accepts SCART and a plug socket, which shouldn't be too hard in most hotels.

My 550PP NSX is coming along nicely, not completely happy with it but it's miles better than it was this morning. I'm not going to bother with a Tsukuba-only gearbox since 1st and 2nd are perfect for low-speed corners already and it's pretty rapid in 3rd and 4th. It won't gain any speed if I shorten the ratios to make 5th and 6th useful so yeah, I've left those for Suzuka's fast sections.

I might as well say my 490PP GT86 is done even though I haven't even built it yet. I've got that many variations of GT86's already in my garage that I could probably just get away with a gearbox tweak and that's it.

Is a 1.04:xxx a good time to have for the 490pp class? Or am I just that far off :dopey:

PM sent re-times for Tsukuba 490pp range.... (I want to keep my time out of here until the tunes start being posted... hush hush top secret tuner info) Also anyone got any gauge on times for 550pp sport soft on Tsukuba pm me please.

I am interested in anyone willing to give me insight as to competetive times on Suzuka, so if anyone wnats to pm there times for 490pp around there I am keen to find out what my benchmark is.

Loving these tuner competetions BTW, well done to those running them!👍👍

I may be way off but I'm guessing the top cars and drivers at Tsukuba for 550PP are going to be running about 0:56-57s, the 520PPs around 0:59, and the 490PP around 1:02s. At Tsukuba I think the different tire grades really make more of a difference than the power. Suzuka will have a much bigger gap in lap times as the higher powered cars will be able to really use that extra grunt where it shows.

Of course it could just be that I'm that much slower than the top people.

Corrected myself after testing another car...thinking times might be even faster than that...:nervous::scared:

dont tell me that xdes... i am going to get blown away in my own event lol
My latest test car which probably isn't the best possible base car for it just ran a 0:58.102 at Tsukuba. 550PP Sports Soft tires. Rough tune built within the rules...and it can be set up to run all three classes.:D

Don't worry Ryan I'm confident of being close to, if not in last place in the 520pp due my obscure yet possibly entertaining choice of vehicle.......more will be revealed once I've finalised the tune!:sly::crazy:....

that is if that completley off kilter vehicle is entered. at this stage I'm thinking YES!

Hint some people like farming.....I like farming in the same way Clarkson does...with more Power!!!

Japanese high octane farming??? Well that rules out Maloo, pickups etc. If you've tweaked a Brumby to 520PP then I'll eat my hat!

Super high octane drift happy fun is the correct terminology being employed in japan at the moment!

I used to own a Brumby (or Leone UTE outside of Aus and NZ), and I know what can be done with them (pretty much WRX runnning gear then add poooowwwwwaaaaaa), if it was in the game I can assure you I would have that thing in a heart beat..... your on the right path though:tup:👍

pretty much going to conduct a little bit of further testing to my farm vehicle then once I'm satisfied that I cannot do anymore to it, I will post it, in the interest of making some people laugh and the testers can use it as a "Coffee break" (GT4 prologue anyone?) between testing the serious entries @ 520pp....

Just ran a minivan max tuned to 544PP on sports soft tires with an unneeded ironing board strapped to its roof making the last 10-15PP around Tsukuba in 0:59.5xx:crazy::D Might have to yank the ironing board off and toss a futball team in the back then give it a go at 520PP:lol:

Who would enter a Mini-Van into a shootout?:scared::crazy::dopey::lol:

Oh, ryangt put me in for the 520pp class as well. Thanks. :dopey:
