There ya go. Geezus, it's like pulling teeth!

Now...where am I supposed to drive it? Seems you had a specific place in mind, but I never heard of a track called "the Nord".

I did want to take A moment to observe an opion, which is why in the world did they
not put any Rally cars from Honda,Fiat,or VW in the Game? Be sure to leave your results.

I like the ring that's what i'll use.

Same reason they didn't put any other car in the game you can think of - time, space, availability.

If I had even the slightest inkling what the question actually meant, I'd have already answered it.

Is what my obsession? Stock cars with no aids? An ellipsis? This thread?

Yup, stock cars with no aids.

I guess you could say I'm obssesed with the classic "Hatches" and small cars.

The only thing I don't like with the Midget'63, is you can't change it's oil.

Then yes - and no.

In GT mode I tune only as is necessary - usually tyres only, but occasionally other things - and never with any driving aids. In Arcade mode I drive stock with no aids - unless I have specific reason to change the tyres - because that's how you drive in LAN Mode. And since I run my own LANs, that's the most important part for me.

That aside, every car in the game has its own unique handling characteristics (except the clones) and I enjoy finding out what they are more than trying to tune them out and make them all drive the same. Of course, driving aids are not conducive to that, because they mask flaws - and it's all about the flaws. With the aids in place, you'll never get to experience the hilarity of the Jensen Interceptor, Lotus Europa or Alpine A110 - and there's no race to match the sheer terror and fun of a LAN Mode Algore Eco/Eco Challenge (hybrid and economy cars, running on Economy tyres).

I see, but one thing is, I have driven The ones you listed except the Interceptor, and yes Economy cars with Economy tires sound like fun!
What's wrong with the Interceptor?
So your saying most cars, say for example; the JGTC all handle the same with aids on,regardless of parts?

Nothing's wrong with it - or any other car. It merely has "unique" handling - like every other car. It's a little more distinctive than others though :D

Driving aids mask handling deficiencies. Tuning does much the same thing - the point of track tunes being to enable you to drive a car as fast as you can around a given track, which often means tuning out undesirable handling traits. Personally, I like undesirable handling traits because they're part of what defines the car - just as I like really slow cars.

That doesn't mean all cars handle the same with driving aids - they don't. Just that they become easier and more sterile.

I see. so would you drive the Ford Model-T the same way?No aids?

I guess it would be pointless to ask you to test my DungBeetle then.

Yes. Everything stock, no aids.

There's only a couple of cars I'd ever consider using driving aids for, and both are massively overpowered, RWD cars. Bearing in mind I got the Japanese copy of GT4 first, and the S-16 Licence Test for that is a sub 6'20 lap of the 'Ring with a Sauber C9 without driving aids... once you've done that, near-enough anything else is easy to drive.

That aside, I can't imagine any purpose for having traction control on a car which cannot possibly break traction under full power, nor stability control on a car which hasn't the power to destabilise itself.

Ah,very well profesor.👍:gtpflag:

To also point out, you said that the RUF R-GT was your favorites and now I understand why you got disgruntled.

So as long as you,or anybody else doesn't "dis" my way of tunes I think we all could get along great!:gtpflag:

They are permitted to do so if they wish. After all, if you ask for feedback you have to be prepared for both positive and negative feedback.

One of the core values of GTPlanet is that anyone is permitted to question any idea, even to the point of derision, but not to cross the line from that to deriding the individual.

Not even slightly. I've done horrifying things to cars I like back in the days of GT3 - have a hunt on Youtube for the GT Genome Project 1 & 2.

My presence in your threads thus far has been only as a moderator and in full possession of my gruntle, trying to get you to understand the rules to which you agreed and the implications of them on how you post. You seem to be getting the hang of it now - four threads and nearly 100 posts after originally reading the AUP (after all, you checked the box to say you'd read them, so you must have read them...).

Thank you very much.

On the front page I have updated my list.

My shop also does reviews.

Any car just ask!

Another acceptable Nurburgring Nickname is "The Green Hell" (My prefered one, actually!).
Personally I prefer "Die Gruene Hoelle" (The Green Hell in German).

On-topic (if there is one): It doesn't take GTP's equivalent of HKS or Mine's to tune a good car without aids. It doesn't even take a decent tuner to tune a good car sans-aids. Your tunes, if we ever do see them, will be far below average if you're still using drivers' aids. Only DuckRacer did tuning with aids anywhere near great.

I am gonna do this ny own way,no upgrades!
Not only is it fun,but you will notice An "unrealistic" sound when using upgrades. The exhaust upgrades are really bad for that. Nothing extra but A racing suspension used only for Rally,A ridgity refresher(when applicable).Oil change(when applicable),carwarsh, fin and rims strictly for
looks.💡 That way they will keep there sex-appeal!
From now on I don't want to trade tunes, but to test them for free.
Then I will tell you what I think about it.
As far as my cars go make sure you have your Ducttape ready, tunes on,and ciggarette lit, cause it's gonna be A long ride,A really long ride!.
Why try and set all time record high lap times? We here believe in trying to set all time lows!
Who wouldn't like to see Mom's car out on the track? Or you could say that these cars(except the Escort Rally) should have been put in as race cars,or Rally cars in my opinion.
