Thanks a lot mate!
I'm glad you like it. Ever since I started abusing this track - I haven't drivent on the Ring ever since.
Speaks for itself.
Thanks for testing it, keep it up - the more familiar you become with the track the more rewarding it becomes.

You and I both. ^_^

Any chance you'll run the Cadillac Cien? It's the American answer to the Nardo, with the bonus of allowing for more of everything.:D:tup:đź‘Ť

So, i just tested my favourite 4WD....

At 550pp its 60 down on the Scud, yet with the same tyres, it was just 4 seconds slower with a 3.36! While i was at it i decided the stunning scenery was the perfect backdrop, so....

I took over 20 photo's of My Impreza Coupe and here are some of the best ones :)

I have one you can borrow... ;)

I'll test the Cien now.

Edit:
Cien tested, time added to the OP.
Feels sluggish, not a nimble car, bad transmission too.
3:35.936

Added Countach 25th Anniversary, Ruf CTR (Yellowbird) and re-tested R8 5.2 to the OP.

Considering it matched pace with the McLaren F1 it couldn't have felt to slow.:D

Question about your testing. For cars with adjustable aero do you leave them at default or do you adjust them for maximum performance? (Not maximum downforce which may be to high, but maximum performance on the track.)

It doesn't exist in the game, it's just a Veyron tuned up to specs of a Veyron SS.

Exactly.

As for the downforce question - I always max it out (for the cars which have adjustable downforce).

Ah was curious because a lot of times especially on stock suspension a maxed out aero, especially the rear wing which can often have a ridiculously high value, actually hurts performance instead of helping. If for example a car.has a 50/50 weight distribution but you add 3 times as much rear downforce its going to unload the front causing understeer and issues with any bumps or rough surface.
Adjusting the aero to work with your weight distribution will yield better results. With a semi-race suspension or fully customizable one you can adjust spring rates etc. To help take better advantage of the aeros potential but the stock suspension doesn't offer a way generally to make adjustments for maximum potential of the aero.

You wouldn't believe it, but the GT-R is one of the best super cars. If not the best, you'll get the most bang for the buck with the GT-R, no doubt. :sly:đź‘Ť

Just check this out (how your ZR1 is getting smoked from a "rice cooker"): :D

Im sorry, those dragtime videos are stupid and about as useful for basing an argument on cars as waving a bible.

physical weight distribution is a constant and comes into effect at low speeds and cornering.

Aero downforce is more of a high speed variable effect where the force of downforce understeer is required to keep the rear from excessive oversteering and spinning out from a loss of traction. Its not like the car constantly has 3 tonnes extra weight on the rear wheels. Gotta remember, at high speeds, the wheels want to loose traction so pushing down doesnt necessarily mean the car pivots and lifts the front...Not with modern supercar suspension anyways.

I don't think it makes much difference, especially since this is a low speed track (and to be fair: the aerodynamics aren't displayed very well in GT).

Veyron is on top, everyone who says it doesn't steer should learn to drive it.
Amazing times between McLaren F1 LM and Veyron SS. I was really pushing both cars, I was hoping for a 3:29.xxx. -_-
Amen. However when people learn that, I get kicked out of a room :grumpy:

A small update.
Nissan GT-Rs are all on top with a huge margin from the others.
Unbelieveable.
As suspected - GT by Citroen is on top.
